- Informing fellow users of problematic issues isn't exclusively a sysop role. In fact, we generally suggest that users talk to each other before involving sysops. When Lania did not respond to 76.10's comments, he notified the sysops, allowing them to do their job. He basically adhered to your warning (and our practices) before you actually warned him. I don't understand how he was "disruptive", why he deserves a block, and why the block was handed out when his last contrib was before your (in my opinion, undeserved and rather rude) warning.
- Oh, that aside, I partly agree with 76.10. Lania's psychological/mental health diagnoses are inappropriate, even if she is a biologist. I wouldn't say the latest was a personal attack exactly, but they don't belong here. -- pling
