Hello, Anita Blochob, and welcome to the Official Guild Wars Wiki! If you need help with anything, please feel free to add a message to my talk page. I highly recommend that you check out the "Welcome to the wiki" page - it's extremely useful as an initial guide. Best of luck and happy editing! -- User indochine sig icon.pngIndochine talk 18:40, 18 July 2007 (UTC)

Guild Image Naming[edit]

I've tagged the image Image:Guilmates.jpg for deletion as all images uploaded for use on the Wiki need to follow the policies created by the community. Guild content needs to follow GWW:GUILD; Guild images should be uploaded in the format of: Image:guild_GUILD_NAME_IMAGENAME.FORMAT where GUILD_NAME is your Guild's name, IMAGENAME is the image's name and .FORMAT is the file format of the image. (.jpg .gif .png etc.) For example: Image:guild_Soul_of_Elona_Cape.jpg is a valid name for Soul of Elona's cape. Thanks -- User indochine sig icon.pngIndochine talk 18:40, 18 July 2007 (UTC)

Please take the time to read the guild page policy, as linked above (GWW:GUILD). Your images are up for deletion, and I readded the guild template you removed, as the policy says it has to be there. It should be there so we don't confuse guild lore with in-game lore etc :) - anja talk 21:22, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
Regarding the two Numenor images you uploaded, putting aside the naming problems, can you please post their source? Where did you copy them from? Please be aware of our Guild Wars Wiki:Copyrighted content policy. -- ab.er.rant sig 06:20, 20 July 2007 (UTC)
Hi again. You seem to have ignored the previous requests for you to rename your guild images. Please re-upload all your guild images to something like "Guild <your guild name> <the name you want to call it.jpg". The images have all been tagged for deletion. Please try to understand that the naming convention helps with maintenance by differentiating guild-specific images. Thank you.
Similarly, please be aware that the Numenor pictures you've uploaded may be in violation of copyright. -- ab.er.rant sig 17:32, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
Oops, never mind the numenor images. Looks like someone removed them already. -- ab.er.rant sig 17:35, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

Do stop[edit]

Please stop being a pissy just because I placed a guild cleanup tag on your guild page. Also, don't edit the guild cleanup tag just to get mine deleted on the exact day.--§ Eloc § 14:58, 1 November 2007 (UTC)

Personal attacks are expressly forbidden in GWW:GUILDS. Please moderate your attitude or you may be banned. Thanks! Anita Blochob 15:39, 1 November 2007 (UTC)

Please avoid bickering. This was easily avoided by simply both of you explaining your side of things instead of messing around with each other's guild pages. Eloc, I feel that Anita's guild page is still within the bounds of the policy. It has a lot of images, true, but most are small icons so they're all right. That part about not putting up too many images was to mainly to curb people from trying to put up image galleries (and there had been such a case). Anita, I think Eloc was just expressing his opinion and if you disagreed, a better response would be to talk to him about it on his talk page, not start reverting and re-reverting each other. I didn't dig through the histories of all the involved pages to figure out the order in which the edits happened, but I think this is just a case of misunderstanding and let's just leave it as that and cool off. -- ab.er.rant sig 16:12, 1 November 2007 (UTC)

I'm cool with that :-) Anita Blochob 16:20, 1 November 2007 (UTC)

Not to get involved with any arguements, but the main policy for personal attacks is GWW:NPA. Just wanted to inform you. User-brains12-sigicon3.png br12 ~ 17:49, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
