This UI mod will no longer be updated - GW2 beta is near! Thank you for your understanding, downloads and comments :) Atmu 15:12, 24 September 2011 (UTC)

Update?[edit]

Very nice mod, using it for more than 1 year, but with the D skills update, skills of your mod are like basic skills, same for titles like Lightbringer. Can you make anything to remedy it? Dwadwa 10:40, 25 February 2011 (UTC)

I assume these are the new flash enchantments. However as stated before, I won't update my UI. Atmu 21:20, 11 March 2011 (UTC)
I have the same problem. However, I've seen some screenshot using this mod and have worked their way around this problem. Anyone knows how to fix it? 85.145.1.60 23:59, 13 March 2011 (UTC)
Probably by using an additional mod - check Outlined Skills. Atmu 15:12, 24 September 2011 (UTC)
I made a fix so that the skills look as they're supposed to look. Also I took the liberty of changing the numbers from Health Gain to blue, so they're not confused with dmg. Run the mod along with the original ClearLine http://www.mediafire.com/?undefined Hydro 17:48, 2 February 2012 (UTC)

Health bar markers?[edit]

I would love to see health bar markers (25,50,75%) added to next release, that would complete this mod and make it the only UI anyone would ever need. Nay the One and Only User Nay the One and Only SIG.png 16:02, 18 February 2010 (UTC)

In general it's no problem at all to create health bar markers. However, after several hours of trail and error I have to say the integration of health bar markers is impossible without destroying the style of the UI. And imho health bar markers are unnecessary, since there aren't any skill you might need them for in particular. eg: Light_of_Deliverance has been changed long ago and Finish_Him! really won't need a marker. Atmu 20:12, 28 February 2010 (UTC)
Actually several of my necro skills could use them as well as a few beastmaster ones, but I see your point. Oh it is kinda hard to make out the elites, the border might be a tad too thin. granted I know which one my elite is, but it throws me off if I glance sometimes. Still an amazing mod though, ty. *Added* scratch that about the elites, it was another mod I was using interfering with it. If anyone is interested in a demo of health bar markers you can download the .tpf file here Atmu 00:23, 21 August 2010 (UTC)

good mod[edit]

This is a pretty good mod, I love the 'tech' feel such as the "utilize.....success" on the skill warm up bar (: There are two things so far that bother me:

  • The white borders on most windows because the windows are black, but the white stands out the most and it hurts my eyes haha.
  • The font is cool on the bar but when it pops up over head and stuff, its kind of hard to read. I'm playing minimized, so its faded black at the top and slightly dark near the bottom.

The switch from energy being purple to blue (health in vanilla UI) kind of confuses me but I guess I need to get used to it. --Mrguildboi 19:45, 7 March 2010 (UTC)

I wanted to harmonize the colors. So all health relating numerals (heal, damage taken) are red or in a fleshy color. Energy bar is blue - so the numerlas are. Damage you deal remained yellow. I guess it is kind of irritating at first :) The font is very narrow and "technical" thus it is a bit hard to read :/ Atmu 20:14, 8 March 2010 (UTC)

Requests by Kaspar[edit]

Could we get a couple versions of the mod where the colors are different? Instead of the blue hue to it maybe have green, white, orange, etc. :D --Kaspar Nagarian 18:04, 17 June 2010 (UTC)

An excellent idea ;) However unlikely I will do this - lots of work and GW2 will release "soon" (imo in the next half year), thus few players will use my UI anymore :( making different colored versions is simply not worth it. (btw: sry 4 re so l8) Atmu 00:16, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
Would you be able to send me the images you have and I can go through and modify all the colors for it so that it can have the color option available? That is, if you still have the images for it all. :D (I'm a slow replier sometimes too) --Kaspar Nagarian 02:59, 23 September 2010 (UTC)
I'm sorry :/ The original image files are not available. Atmu 23:42, 25 September 2010 (UTC)
Would it be at all possible to some how take apart a texmod file and see what was all put into it and all the images from it to sort through? (kinda like when making a new texmod w/ Guild Wars going, but w/ a texmod instead of the game's normal textures) --Kaspar Nagarian 20:07, 1 October 2010 (UTC)
Tried Google - could found some "very unoffical" apps to "unpack" a .tpf file. Never have tried it, so I dunno for sure. Atmu 19:00, 22 January 2011 (UTC)

Elite skills[edit]

I love this mod it's nearly perfect i think but the one thing i miss is the golden frame around the elite skillz =7

You missed it, literally ;) There is a tiny golden border around the elite skills. Atmu 00:16, 21 August 2010 (UTC)

Many thanks, the UI is awesome.[edit]

Normally, I mod my own stuff. I'm pretty good at it, and to be honest, never really felt the need to use anyone else's stuff. I just started playing guild wars, and was looking into what I am allowed to do with the UI when I found this. I don't think I could have done a better job myself, it's perfect, simple, and elegant. A-Net should hire you.72.161.126.63 19:39, 12 September 2010 (UTC)

Tyvm :) Atmu 23:42, 25 September 2010 (UTC)

Fix colour[edit]

Awesome job :) but i see red colour for heal and light blue for burned energy, is possible fix it pls?

ewww, dude? :/ Have you read anything written on this page or on this? The colors are meant to be this way! Atmu 23:42, 25 September 2010 (UTC)
Ryu89: yes i've read the page, no offence u do a great work, my is only a request because im a pvp player and heal in red confuses me a lot. isn't possible make a version with only this change?
nvm ;) It's possible. However GW2 release is near (hopefully) so I've discontinued improving my UI. Atmu 18:40, 22 January 2011 (UTC)

Wooaah :o[edit]

Ive been using your mod alot in the past couple of months, but one small bug kinda bugs me, the Logout button (the one you can place on your UI (off menu)) isnt transparent, it just has a black backround, Just thought you should know ^_^ --NeilUser Neil2250 sig icon6.png 21:41, 5 January 2011 (UTC)

I know it - I hate it - I would have made it transpartent. The problem is the fricking rendering behavior of textures of different UI elements. For one transparency works, for another black will be transparent and for some neither will be; like for all menu buttons (and if you have noticed it's same applys to bag button textures on the merchant panel) I'm sry :( Atmu 19:00, 22 January 2011 (UTC)
Ah, dont worry then :) --NeilUser Neil2250 sig icon6.png 15:43, 4 March 2011 (UTC)

Wooaah (2) :o[edit]

Im back again :D.is it possible you could make buttons for ready/non ready? (latest update) --NeilUser Neil2250 sig icon6.png 15:43, 4 March 2011 (UTC)

It is, but I won't :) see top. Atmu 15:12, 24 September 2011 (UTC)
