Strange

The user Elwing Istar exists, yet somehow the candidate for deletion notice is still active, can anyone explain? Elwing Istar 11:31, 27 July 2009 (UTC)

It was put up for deletion because another user created the user page, perhaps in future it would be best to just register the account first then make the user page. ~~000.00.00.00~~ 11:35, 27 July 2009 (UTC)

Since I was the one that originally tagged the page the reason 000 gave was mostly correct, the problem wasn't that it was created by another user it was just because it wasn't registered first. Technically according to our deletion policy user pages for unregistered users can be speedily deleted immidiately which is unfortunately what happened to the character template you also made. However the way that I deal with them is that if the actual user name can be registered; as it was in this case; I do a normal deletion tag which generally gives a minimum of three days before deletion which normally is enough time for the user to notice the problem and register the username. On the note of that template, I have restored it for you, sorry about the inconvenience. --Kakarot 10:35, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
