No.[edit]

The correct response to deflecting is overt trolling. — Raine Valen User Raine R.gif 1:33, 19 Jul 2010 (UTC)

If you're in a srs bsns (IRL srs) argument, then no. Otherwise, I agree. --Riddle 02:55, 19 July 2010 (UTC)
"Assassins give way too much reward for the skill it takes to play them."
"Why play GW if you're just complaining about it?"
"R U MAD BCUZ I BAGGED ON UR NINJAS?! 1-10?!"
I wouldn't have it any other way, nine times out of ten.
Serious arguments should, as you said, be exempt, but how often do those happen? — Raine Valen User Raine R.gif 3:15, 19 Jul 2010 (UTC)

Haha, I call people on it all the time. If you want an irl wiki example, Shadowphoenix was kind enough to provide one here. -Auron 03:19, 19 July 2010 (UTC)

I also called reggie on it and she archived my thread :( -Auron 03:31, 19 July 2010 (UTC)
Oh man, CM's or anyone in that sort of occupation are especially notorious for deflecting. And when deflecting is impossible, they maximize damage control with passive voice.
One thing I noticed with Regina is that she definitely has a "job" mode, where her posts and edits are usually stale, boring, and nebulous in their meaning. However something like this happens, where she isn't in an environment where she must be "on the job," and she becomes comparitively more lively. --Riddle 03:44, 19 July 2010 (UTC)
