User talk:Ezekial Riddle/Henchmen aren't so bad
I always enjoy leaving post searing, precisely because it gives me a no-risk opportunity to crush some poor sod's face into the dirt. :p They can't flame you for being a noob because it's noob island anyway, they can't say you had any unfair advantages unless you're like level 20 with /bonus equipment, etc. Best of all, unlike random arenas, no gay builds to ruin the fight. :)
Henchmen aren't so bad, no...I use them all the time. But so many of them have certain skills which just ruin them. 10e healing spells on Monks and/or Orison...Shield of Regeneration (15e), Aegis (10e), and Protective Spirit (10e) on the same monk with no energy management... touch skills on necros...Mind Burn >.< In that sense, while humans may have terrible bars or be stupid, there are certain skills which they will always beat the AI at using competently. - The main point I was trying to achieve is that, shitty bars or no, a henchman will performs the actions of his class. That's about the only good thing from henchman is that they will do what their class should be doing. If you need a melee, by God, throw in a warrior henchman (or better yet, a warrior hero). --Riddle 00:53, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
