Reminiscing[edit]
This was the first character I ever created in GW way back in E3 for Everyone on May 10, 2004, and up until about a week after GW was released he was a N/Mo. I then switched him to Mo/N for a few days before changing to Mo/Me, which is what my PvP heavy guild wanted me to play. We all played some PvE, mainly to cap elite skills the hard way - by timing the boss. In some ways I see Guild Wars as turning 5 in just a few days because that alpha/preview was the first time I played it.
Remember when minions caused a pip of energy degen per minion? Then there was infinite minions, which I got to do about a month of on a different character before that was nerfed, but it was very entertaining to have 60+ minions... The second character I created was a ranger named Sielf Footshooter (or something like that - not sure of the spelling) but I deleted him to create Milly Dew because I didn't think rangers did enough damage. I avoided warriors, mostly because they were a dime a dozen (but cleaned house in pre). I also kinda miss the AI that didn't target monks first in PvE - that was probably the single-most reason Milly became my primary character and False fell into second - that first 6 months or so I was playing HA heavily and the last thing I wanted to do was the chaos-like casting of PvP when I was doing PvE. I had been booted from my first guild by then (pretty much for taking a week of vacation) joined another guild (the now likely defunct Valiant Visionaries), quickly rose to guild leader, and had my guild ranks devastated when a number of people left to form a new guild and coincidentally recruiting got bumped to 100gp about the same time and I was broke (until I started 4-man farming Sorrow's Furnace I had about 2000gp at most). I left that guild and joined a couple of other guilds including one large one (which I eventually got kicked from - leaving the game for 3 months does that) before joining hott near the start of Factions.
