Unable to open

Texmod gives me this message when I'm trying to load the file. Haven't tried Cantha and Elona editions yet.--Itamar 20:07, 23 October 2010 (UTC)

Hmm, the version up right now works on my end. Does it just give the generic "Doh!" error? Perhaps re-download it as maybe it got corrupted, or you could try running GW with the -image argument to get all the data client-side, see if that helps. ~Farlo Talk 19:48, 23 October 2010 (UTC)

First, thanks for your quick replay! It doesn't give me the "Doh!" error, it says "Unable to open. (location of the file)". On the pop-up window's caption it's written "Invalid Texmod Package". I use the -image after every little updated so it can't be the problem. I tried Cantha aswell, can't be loaded either..(Other texmods work just fine).--Itamar 20:07, 23 October 2010 (UTC)

Hmm, that is odd. Do you have it stored deep in folders? File name might be too long. Disregard that bit. Try doing it from your Desktop or with a new download, if it says it's an invalid package. If all else fails, I can email you a zip with the files and you can compile it yourself. ~Farlo Talk 23:24, 23 October 2010 (UTC)

No problem at all, just here to help the GW community. Sending them wouldn't that big a deal, it's not like they're worth anything to sell or steal, lol, and I keep backups of every file I edit, with all the edits in different layers (I'm OCD status organized). Alternative Download Source?

I'd love to use this mod, however, I have issues with using Rapidshare. Can this mod be mirrored somewhere else, such as Mediafire? I have few problems downloading as a "free" user from pretty much everywhere but Rapidshare (they always claim I've downloaded too much, even though I've never actually downloaded anything successfully from there). Thx!

If you're sharing internet with someone or live in a complex/apartment, you might share IPs with other people who use it often, but sure, I've mirrored all 4 downloads to MediaFire, and should be on the non-talk of this page. ~Farlo Talk 18:42, 28 October 2010 (UTC)

Rapidshare's been a problem for me for a long time, but no one else uses my machine (and no proxy is used). *shrug* Rapidshare also refuses to reply to email, so there ya go. No problem man, and yeah, Rapidshare seems a bit weird about customer support, especially for English, and it doesn't help that they even used to have English translated wrong on the main page until fairly recently.
