Very nice![edit]

Good work, I designed the Progress bar template with the goal to use it in the kind of template you just created here, but I got lazy and never finished it! ^^ I suggest you look at all the options of my template, especially the tooltip ones, to make your template match the game as closely as possible. If you need some help, feel free to ask. --Funky Jah (talk) User Funky Jah icon.jpg 13:50, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

Thanks, but you did the part that I just couldn't figure out. I'm still somewhat of a novice at wiki and web programming with no real desire to become a professional. Your template was suggested to me by Poke. When I had seen what you did, it was exactly what I was looking for. I still have alot of work to do to calculate everything for all of the titles, but you definitely took alot of the hard work out of it for me. Thanks for your template...it's greatly appreciated. If anyone wants to help...[edit]

There is still alot of code to be written to determine the Name, Progress and Text for the remaining titles. If anyone would like to help with this, please sign up here and say which ones that you'd like to work on. Some are going to be easier than others and accuracy is of the utmost concern. I'd like this to mimic the Title Progress in game as much as possible, so correct text, punctuation, capitalization, names and bar percentages are important.

Here are the 4 Templates that need to be updated for each Title:

If you're planning on helping by taking on one title, or multiple titles, please note that in order for the main template to work properly, the code in all four of the above templates must be complete and correct.

If you'd like to test your code, I have created a Sandbox page specifically for testing this code. It can be found here. Just edit that page and add the codes for testing the titles that you're working on.

This main template will not need any modification other than adding (Complete) or (In Progress) to the end of the Title Line you'll be working on.

If anyone has ideas to make this template more like the one in game, please let me know and I'll do my best to try to replicate it.

Thank you very much. Jfarris964 14:29, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

As I said, I'll give you a hand. But first I'll read your entire code to see how you've done things. I know it may not be important to you (or at all), but I really like to give template users a great control over the appearance of the "widget", so that it integrates smoothly into the design of their pages. So I think the colors of the bars should be customizable. This can be done very fast and simply, so if you agree, I can start working on it. I have many ideas on how to improve user customizability of templates, one of them being to create a "theme" template which could be created and customized under a user's space, and then passed as parameter to compatible templates which would then all use the same set of colors ans styles. I think I'm going to test this on the progress bar template first. Depending on my mood, I might as well rewrite it all and make a v2.0 (under a different name, so that people using it as it is now have the choice to use the new one or not). Wow I talk too much, this has nothing to do with the subject of this conversation ^^ --Funky Jah (talk) User Funky Jah icon.jpg 10:44, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
