Userpage[edit]

you should probably take a look at GWW:USER regarding image size/naming -FireFox File:Firefoxav.png 06:23, 28 May 2007 (UTC)

Thank you. I hope everything is OK now. I've re-uploaded all of my images using, what I hope to be, an appropriate naming convention. Please let me know if something is still wrong or if something else needs to be changed. Jfarris964 07:02, 28 May 2007 (UTC)

Hello, "All images on your main user page must not exceed 100 KB in total size" (from GWW:USER), currently your image of Charismatic Harm is 97kB, effectively you cannot add any more pictures to your user-page. You may want to consider using sub-pages for your character information. -- Scourge User Scourge Spade.gif 07:15, 28 May 2007 (UTC)

Render?[edit]

How did you render your characters so well? ChaosBurst 19:01, 21 September 2011 (UTC)

For many of the shots, I turned off the UI, then zoomed in to make the character as large as possible on the screen. After that, I took a screenshot, then edited the picture in Photoshop to remove the background. Saving the new picture with a transparent background allowed me to place it into a table cell with the background color of my choice. Jfarris964 15:44, 23 September 2011 (UTC)
Superb job. You must have really good graphics, or done something to the armor itself, because, when I do that, I get lots of pixelation ChaosBurst 16:56, 23 September 2011 (UTC)
I didn't do anything to the armor itself. The only edits to the screenshot I would make were to remove the background. I used the highest possible resolution screenshot I could when editing the file, then saved it as a smaller version to reduce both the physical and file size....keeping as much detail as possible. Those screenshots were taken SO long ago that I don't know what the settings were when I took them. I just remember it taking quite a while to find a good balance between detail and file size.
