Guild banner[edit]
Placing your guild banner inside the section breaks the text, and makes the page look horrible. You need to consider multiple resolutions.-- Wyn 22:52, 31 July 2008 (UTC)
- Ok, thx, I'll remove the image.-- Joke 01:05, 01 August 2008 (UTC+1)
- Well, you don't have to remove it, just place it above the section. That's where most guild banner images are on Guild pages. I'm really not trying to make your life difficult, just trying to help you present your guild page to it's best :D -- Wyn 23:11, 31 July 2008 (UTC)
- Yes I know you don't :) , I was just astonished someone else edits my page ;) Thanks for the advice :)-- Joke 01:13, 01 August 2008 (UTC+1)
- From the point of view of a low resolution user, putting the image above or below the title made no difference actually. Pic of what the issue was? :P--Fighterdoken 23:14, 31 July 2008 (UTC)
- Just putting the banner image inside the section broke the text.... put some of it on the side, and some of it below. It looked much better just putting the banner above the section. And I run a HIGH resolution. -- Wyn 23:40, 31 July 2008 (UTC)
- Weird. In any case, it could probably have been solved by putting a {{clear}} template under the image.--Fighterdoken 23:44, 31 July 2008 (UTC)
- Only problem with that is that it screws up the position of the infobox :P -- Wyn 00:27, 1 August 2008 (UTC)
(Reset indent) and Jokesmith, your User page is YOUR page... the guild page belongs to the community. I mostly only do clean up and layout stuff, correcting typos and the like, but anyone is able to edit guild pages. -- Wyn 00:33, 1 August 2008 (UTC)
- Ok, ok, no worries :).-- Joke 14:05, 01 August 2008 (UTC+1)
