Wiki skin

There are several premade options for your personally visible wiki skin that you can choose from by clicking on my preferences at the top of the page and then selecting the Skin tab. If you don't like any of those, you can modify your view by making changes to Special:Mypage/monobook.css. If you need more information on how to do this, you might try clicking on the MediaWiki logo in the bottom right corner of any wiki page and search for Monobook.css. Well, you could always hire that fellow to write the code you want. Then you could post up the code for optional use for selection by other users (via the "My Preferences" menu, but it would require installation I think) or try for a wide spread change (through screenshots and codework to ensure functionality) or just use it yourself! :-) --Antioch 23:18, 15 February 2009 (UTC)

Like I said, you can try your own brand using your own code. Just because you want it, doesn't necessarily others do too. I say that in the nicest way possible, because I like fancy layouts; it just so happens when you spend hours of your day here doing work it tends to have a simpler interface that doesn't strain my eyes as much (white on blue, for example is nice, but it kills my eyes). --Antioch 06:16, 20 February 2009 (UTC)
