Welcome to Guild Wars Wiki Markw! I see you've been working on your userpage and it's off to a great start! Did you know you an use the Show preview button to view your edits as you are making them and then only save once you have it looking just the way you wish? This minimizes the entries on the page history as well as on Recent changes. If you are making a small change, you can also select the This is a minor edit option so that those of us who monitor Recent changes can filter out your edits.
