I answered your question about coloring userboxes on my talk page. Also, when you create pages that relate to your user account, they do belong in the userspace. Its simple. If you want a page for screenshots, instead of a page like Screenshots, make it into a userspace page, I.E. User:Mcdertr/Screenshots. It helps keep the wiki organized :P.
