just fyi, -moz-border-radius doesn't work in IE. - Y0_ich_halt 20:57, 16 November 2007 (UTC)
- I know and I did check it in IE but I left the borders in case eloc has a change of heart and browser someday. :P - nian 21:09, 16 November 2007 (UTC)
- lol xD - Y0_ich_halt 21:29, 16 November 2007 (UTC)
what do you mean by 'padding doesn't work'? - Y0_ich_halt 23:36, 16 November 2007 (UTC)
- In IE adding higher values to the padding of the boxes doesn't seem to be doing anything. It should make the text inside the box have more distance to the edges of the box. I don't know if I'm making any sense at almost 2am in the morning...maybe I should just go to bed lol. I can't think in english anymore. Anyway I'm more bothered by it on the character pages. In firefox it looks ok and I don't currently have Opera installed so can't check if it's just an IE thing. Weird anyway,. :S - nian 23:50, 16 November 2007 (UTC)
- it'S because the "em" is a relative size, afaik it depends on font size or so. it should work if you use px, pt or something, as those are absolute. - Y0_ich_halt 00:00, 17 November 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for the info. Funny Istill can't really get it to work tho but I guess it's fine. I've never come accross this probably because I rarely use percentages to define anything when I make websites etc. Wikis are funny. - nian 11:47, 17 November 2007 (UTC)
- Is this the famous box-model problem in IE? What version are you using? Padding applied to elements inside the box should add space between them and the box. Padding added to a box shouldn't affect what's inside it in any way at all, but rather it should be outside the box. Older versions of IE had that backwards. - Thulsey - talk 16:42, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
- or maybe that. - Y0_ich_halt 16:54, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
