Page edit descriptions[edit]

Is there a simple way to correct these? I recently reverted a page and forgot the pipe between the Special:Contributions/IP_address and the IP address itself. So it turned out to be: Special:Contributions/IPaddressIPaddress rather than IPaddress.

Not a huge deal, I don't think, but a little irritating. This only shows up in the edit reason for the page, so someone really curious can look at it and determine what to do... but I don't think it's enough to warrant another page edit just to fix the edit reason. --Nkuvu User Nkuvu sig button.jpg 19:05, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

hrmph[edit]

Don't you hate it when you edit a page for grammar and put "grammer" as the reason? I type gud. -__- --Nkuvu User Nkuvu sig button.jpg 16:23, 30 August 2008 (UTC)

Aura[edit]

why is the world would you want to remove the divine aura! — Seru User Seru Sig2.png Talk 01:16, 1 September 2008 (UTC)

I take screenshots of characters for various things. Icons for forums, LiveJournal, the wiki... sometimes the Divine Aura gets in the way (as in the example pic). --Nkuvu User Nkuvu sig button.jpg 01:17, 1 September 2008 (UTC)
Nah just makes em look epic :D yeah that is about the only use for itSeru User Seru Sig2.png Talk 01:25, 1 September 2008 (UTC)
I know a few alliance members who may be interested in the mod as well. And it was kind of a pain to find all of the various textures, so figured I'd upload it just in case. Who knows... maybe someone outside the alliance will find a use for it as well. --Nkuvu User Nkuvu sig button.jpg 01:30, 1 September 2008 (UTC)
I might, but prob not. I <3 my divine aura. — Seru User Seru Sig2.png Talk 01:32, 1 September 2008 (UTC)
Most of the time, I do too. But every once in a while I want to take a screenshot, and the Divine Aura obscures my character's face or something. So I just wanted a way to turn it off.
I will mention that I can't use Texmod for any length of time -- I need to use the -dsound switch, or the game crashes (particularly prone to crashing during a battle, which is one of the last times you want the game to crash). So the vast majority of the time I'm running the game as normal. So this isn't a "I hate Divine Aura and never want to see it again" kind of thing. --Nkuvu User Nkuvu sig button.jpg 01:53, 1 September 2008 (UTC)
Lol i figured that. If someone hated their divine aura they should sell give their account to one of the people that would kill for it o.O — Seru User Seru Sig2.png Talk 01:59, 1 September 2008 (UTC)

Divine Aura mod[edit]

Hello, I did not know of any other method of contacting you that leaving a message on this page. I saw you made a divine aura remover for the sake of taking pictures. Can you make a mod that Adds the divine aura to the characters as well? I'm sure i'm not the only one that would love to have it. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:65.7.225.144 (talk).

It doesn't work that way, as far as I know. When you use an emote with a character that has the Divine Aura, there are two textures used around the character's hands. The mod I created just made those textures transparent. If the account does not have the Divine Aura, there is no texture around the emoting character's hands, therefore nothing to change through Texmod. --Nkuvu User Nkuvu sig button.jpg 05:39, 3 November 2008 (UTC)

Texmod[edit]

Run Gw.exe with -image at the end so that you download every file. Remove -image when you're done downloading. After that, Texmod should work again.

Yeah, that's how I normally upgrade. I will attempt it again and see if I can get it to work. It's not a huge deal if I can't get it to work, but I was going to look at finally completing Canthan cartography and Texmod would make it much easier. Nkuvu 05:02, 18 August 2012 (UTC)
