Archiving[edit]

By moving the text I meant cut and paste to the archive, not move the page. Now you have your base pages redirecting to /archive :/. I'd recommend that you use the {{archive-box}} template on this page, so users can see how to get to your archive page. Also, you should wait at least week before archiving comments. -- User indochine dsk tree.png Indochine talk 20:34, 8 September 2008 (UTC)

This is confusing. What do you do whith obsolete stuff related to an empty page. My first response, is to flush it out. Why waste disk space on a talk page that refer to an empty page? Could you be more precise, please? Paryll Nur 20:41, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
We archive discussions as keeping a record of comments may be useful in the future. For example, if there is a future discussion about the page, people can be referred back to here. -- User indochine dsk tree.png Indochine talk 20:57, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
I went ahead and added the {{archive-box}} with a link to your archive page. If you have questions about archiving, HELP:ARCHIVE has a pretty good explanation of it. You are required to keep a link to your archive available on your talk page, as per our user page policy. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask :D --Wyn's Talk page Wyn 22:48, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
Could you do me a favor, please. I have the same User talk archived, and on User talk:Paryll Nur/MappingOut. I need to make some space there it's getting pretty crowded. I thought you said it would go away, it seems to just make a copy of itself. One archive, should be enough, I think Paryll Nur 04:11, 9 September 2008 (UTC)
I have archived the talk on the MappingOut page, leaving your Conclusion. --Wyn's Talk page Wyn 04:20, 9 September 2008 (UTC)
