why did you change the size and remove the text from the dye chart I added? --Kristofferus 22:31, 19 July 2011 (UTC)
- I replaced your chart with the default dye chart template that is used on all pages. If you have issues with consistency, then I suggest you take it up at the dye chart template page. Ryuu *bite* 22:34, 19 July 2011 (UTC)
- I wasn't aware such a template existed. I will use that from now on, as I'm working on a few other obsidian armor pages/dye charts. --Kristofferus 22:35, 19 July 2011 (UTC)
- If you're attempting to contribute to the dye chart project, I suggest you review the guidelines. The image you uploaded didn't actually comply with these guide lines, meaning that ultimately the image will need to be replaced with one that does so. Ryuu *bite* 23:09, 19 July 2011 (UTC)
- Gotcha. I understand these guidelines, having read that page you posted on my talk page. I'm using GWDressUp to generate these images, since I don't actually have any (except for male necro) of the obsidian sets. With that, I can't do the screenies in the Dye Preview screen. All that I can do is upload images of my characters wearing the armor in town. What I'll do is continue this project, since I'm well underway, but include the images in my own userspace. Then I'll go into the armor talk pages, and link the galleries from there. That way, I can continue what I'm doing as I have been doing it, prevent having to redo the whole thing, or prevent the pages from looking all different from one another. Unless, of course, you'd suggest putting those images in the armor galleries as I have been, as sort of placeholders until someone who actually owns the sets can do a screenshot from the Dye Preview screen. How should I continue from here? --Kristofferus 23:24, 19 July 2011 (UTC)
- Honestly, considering the length of time these dye charts have gone uncreated, it's probably not likely that anyone will be replacing your images in the future. You should probably continue to upload them as you've been doing, but I'd advise at least labeling the colors so the image is more useful. (For example, see here) Additionally, if you could find a more neutral or black backdrop, that would really help. The ring of fire region comes into mind, although I'm sure there's somewhere more appropriate. Ryuu *bite* 23:35, 19 July 2011 (UTC)

(Reset indent) I'd also probably tag your images with the {{image update}} template. And, you haven't been including the appropriate category; [[Category:Armor dye charts]]. Make sure to do that, as well. Ryuu *bite* 23:37, 19 July 2011 (UTC)
- You should check out {{tl}}. -- Armond Warblade 23:57, 19 July 2011 (UTC)
- Oy, this is turning out to be a lot more work than I had imagined. The reason I've been choosing LA or Pre-Searing Ascalon is because not everyone of my characters has access to the same areas. Female ranger, male elementalist, male monk only have access to pre-searing Ascalon. The rest I can go to Wurm Isle and use the black background behind the Sigil Trader. Also, LA and Pre-Searing Ascalon seem to offer the most neutral lighting, unlike Wurm Isle which adds a yellow-ish layer/tint, even with some options disabled. Even so, that would require redoing the whole thing, re-uploading all the 20 images, and adding the graphic tag in each one of them. Perhaps a project for another day, as the way I'm doing them now (using a macro in my image editing software to crop, resize, and arrange each image) is taking long enough. --Kristofferus 00:00, 20 July 2011 (UTC)
- I'm halfway done, here check it out and see how it's coming along. User:Kristofferus/Obsidian_armor_dye_charts

Oiiiiii
You play anymore? =S --Silven 03:51, 22 August 2011 (UTC)
- Nah, not really. I might login once in a while when I'm really bored and FA/JQ/RA, but that's pretty much it now. I cbf to contribute to wiki anymore either - I found a different community that legitimately needs me, so most of my time is devoted elsewhere. You can feel free to add me to MSN, though. Just use the Email user function, and I'll give you the address. Oh, and I do miss you guys. Ryuu *bite* 00:40, 30 August 2011 (UTC)

- Did you switch MSN's again or something? Cause I haven't seen you online for a long time. Vili 点 03:30, 30 August 2011 (UTC)
- Yeah, probably. It's funny, I almost always find myself switching MSN's just to avoid one person - only to eventually find myself adding them to my new MSN. And then the process repeats itself. As a result, I have too many MSN accounts that I care to count, let alone remember about. Ryuu *bite* 10:53, 31 August 2011 (UTC)
- Blocking people works better. -- Armond Warblade 12:59, 31 August 2011 (UTC)
- Yeah, I know it's more practical. It's just, the idea of "blocking" doesn't really settle well with that particular person. *shrugs* It's silly and irrational, I know. Ryuu *bite* 20:14, 31 August 2011 (UTC)
- Why do you hate me? — Raine Valen 23:29, 31 Aug 2011 (UTC)
- You've always been silly and irrational when it comes to her, and I've always told you to stop. I guess it works out. -- Armond Warblade 05:50, 1 September 2011 (UTC)
