Uploading images[edit]

When you want to upload a new version of an image, click on the image and click on "upload a new version". You don't need to create a new name and upload it and then abandon the old one (troublesome for maintenace). Also, bear in mind GWW:GUILD. Guild images have a naming convention. I will help you upload your new version using your old name (I also helped you re-uploaded the first version). See Image:Guild Nefarious Nephthys cape.jpg. Bear in mind that this wiki has a weird image caching issue. A newly uploaded image somethings doesn't get shown immediately. It might take more than a couple of minutes before the cache updates to the new image. -- ab.er.rant sig 04:09, 2 October 2007 (UTC)

User Images[edit]

Hi, when you upload images to be used in your user space, they must be named as follows: User_Sassy_Image_Name_Here and be tagged with {{user image}} to be in accordance with the GWW:IMAGE policy. If they are taken from ingame screenshots, they must also be tagged with {{screenshot}}. You need to re-upload your character images to be in accordance with policy, as the current ones will be tagged for deletion. Hope this helps and have a nice day! --Hawk SkeerUser Hawk Skeer Assassin.png 20:15, 20 January 2008 (UTC)

Guild page blanking[edit]

Hi... If you have been blanking pages because of guild disbanding, please tag them for deletion instead, adding the {{delete|give the reson here}} tag at the top. If not, please avoid doing so, because it could be seen as vandalism.
If you are just testing edits, please do so in the Sandbox, or under your own userspace. (added) Also, remember that guild pages must follow the guild pages policy and a formatting guideline.--Fighterdoken 23:24, 23 January 2008 (UTC)

How do I mark for deletion? I have a old Guild page that needs to be deleted. As for this page, I'd like to Make it a lil More better than having it look like so many older guild pages I had. (Sassy 23:30, 23 January 2008 (UTC))
For deletion, just add the following text to the top of the page:
{{delete|give the reson here}}
...adding in there the reason why you want to delete it. And about looks, guild pages can be changed a little, but still have to follow the formatting guideline to some degree, at least regarding the "what you can't put in there".--Fighterdoken 23:34, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
So I can't have it looking kinda like My User page but edited a "Teeny weeny" =/ (Sassy 23:35, 23 January 2008 (UTC))
Uhm, i think you "could" as long as you include the {{guild}} tag and infobox, but having separated pages for each member of the guild can't be done. In any case, you can make a test page (for example in User:Sassy/Guild and then ask on the wiki help section if it's acceptable.--Fighterdoken 23:38, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
Oh noo Don't want seperate pages for members/Officers blaH That be way to much Time, Work and effort, LAWL, No Just wanted to make it a lil Eye Candy than the plain jane Look, Thx for your help BTW =D (Sassy 23:40, 23 January 2008 (UTC))
If i remember right, eyecandy is allowed. Just be sure to do all the edits in a separated page (in your userspace by example) and then move the content to the guild page so it doesn't get mistaked for something else.--Fighterdoken 23:43, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
