Show Preview

Hi, I noticed you recently started updating your Userpage which is fine tho but I would like you to use the Show Preview Button which lets you see exactly how the Page will look like when you save it. Once you're satisfied with the look of your Page you can save it. Doing so will reduce the Number of Entries in the Page History and the RecentChanges List which is monitored by many people to detect Vandals and such things. Userpage

Hi Veng. Just an FYI, your userpage is exceeding the size limit required of user mainpages in our User page policy. Your main page can not be larger than 300k, and yours is almost 1.4mb. This needs to be changed. I would suggest removing the large images, or moving the character information to a subpage that is linked to your main page. Each of your statue pngs is 200+k by themselves. Thanks! -- Wyn 04:38, 4 May 2009 (UTC)

Hi Veng, I know you've been working on reducing the size of your page, but it is still almost 3 times as large as the policy allows at 867 KB. Again, I would suggest you remove some of the images, or move your character profile page to a subpage (unlimited page size) and simply keep general information and links on your main page. Tnx for reminding me - I'm trying... So my main page have limit 300kB but my subpage will have no limit "(unlimited page size)" - is that correct?

Correct. The limit is placed because your main page is the primary portal to your talk page through your signature. Having a page larger than 300k makes it difficult for some to load, thus delaying them from getting to your talk page. Also, most of this wiki is optimized to a 1024x768 resolution, so your page is way too big to fit in most people's window. I would suggest changing the dimensions from hard coded pixel size to percentages. I only can view about 25% of your page without scrolling, which is very annoying. -- Wyn 19:26, 9 May 2009 (UTC)

You might want to let your guild members know since several of them are using your character template on their main page and as such all have the same difficulty. -- Wyn 09:49, 13 June 2009 (UTC)
