I think it should also state the date when the count was written, like a substitute that records the wiki time when the edit was saved/posted. User Yoshida Keiji Signature.jpg Yoshida Keiji (talk) 14:24, 12 January 2013 (UTC)

Or you could just type
{{User:Wendy Black/Timerank|9500|14:30, 12 January 2013 (UTC)}}
And let it store the posted date in an unused second parameter. (accident prone if wendy implemented more unnamed parameters later)
Also, Wendy's list of ranks vs hours played is inaccurate! (e.g. I've entered 9500, and its showing GWelitechamp.) I'd correct it but there is no way of telling which was intentional :) Chieftain Alex 14:30, 12 January 2013 (UTC)
That is not your real timing, right? I always suspected you played more hours than me. User Yoshida Keiji Signature.jpg Yoshida Keiji (talk) 14:34, 12 January 2013 (UTC)
Nah, I was just testing it and happened to notice the point boundaries were not the same. 7338 hours. Equivalent to almost 310 days of constant 24 hour periods. Loads of afk time editing the wiki though :P Chieftain Alex 16:33, 12 January 2013 (UTC)
Couldn't you just use a random set of text as a non-parameter, so there wouldn't be any issues if additional unnamed parameters are added? For example:
{{User:Wendy Black/Timerank|9500|xyz1=14:30, 12 January 2013 (UTC)}}
--Silver Edge 07:15, 13 January 2013 (UTC)
That definitely proofs it against template updates ^^ Chieftain Alex 13:18, 13 January 2013 (UTC)
