My 5th Year with Guild Wars[edit]
August 28th marked my 5th year in Guild Wars. I know many players have been with this game since conception. People may ask, what is there left to do after you killed all 3 campaign bosses and The Great Destroyer? There are still numerous miscellaneous tasks (side quests) I have yet to do. Also there are boss fights in dungeons and while they have little to do with the outcome of a campaign. I haven't killed Urgoz, Kanaxai, or wrestled the scythe from Dhuum. Not all of my characters are finished with the War in Kryta or the Winds of Change. There is much more to do. If you look around, thinking there is nothing left to do, by your standards. How wealthy is your character?[edit]
Just some more virtual pseudo math for video gaming.
Currently gold is at $1200 per ounce in the US. If one bases the Guild Wars gold coin on the doubloon the coin weighs in at 0.218 troy ounces.
This would mean 500K in that chest is 500,000 x 1,200 x 0.218 = $130.8 Million!! I would like to cash out please. LOL
Now if you base it on the krugerrand, that is 1 troy ounce or better which means you have five times as much money. --Wendy Black 00:23, 23 January 2017 (UTC)
