Well, what do you guys think.[edit]
[1] Is it ever going to be released, and should we buy it? — Why 22:16, 6 October 2010 (UTC)
- I am disappoint. The Duke returns, and GWW doesn't care. — Why 21:37, 7 October 2010 (UTC)
- I vaguely remember reading about it on PCgamer magazine over 10 years ago... Never played the originals so idk what kind of games these are... they look like humorous FPS games. --Lania 21:38, 07 October 2010 (UTC)
- No one's going to buy it, because it would be like regressing to our childhoods. elix Omni 21:56, 7 October 2010 (UTC)
- yeah, the humor on the video seemed like less mature than even highschool level. --Lania 22:03, 07 October 2010 (UTC)
- That's true. And Felix is right. But I'll be getting it for nostalgia's sake anyway. Nothing wrong with regressing to your childhood from time to time. — Why 12:40, 9 October 2010 (UTC)

Why? Because I want you to.[edit]
So, I'm working on a new page (rofl, yes, again for like the 15th time). You already know the TL;DR and I'll just get to the point. This. That section on the opposite side of the picture is one big ass section, is it possible to divide those into 3? Yeah, I know I used to be good at this but I left wiki for so long, I don't even remember how to do much code anymore. →[ »Halogod (talk)« ]← 02:51, 11 October 2010 (UTC)
- I don't exactly get what you are thinking of xD - Y0_ich_halt 17:47, 11 October 2010 (UTC)
- Like, dividing that big column into 3 smaller columns. →[ »Halogod (talk)« ]← 22:41, 11 October 2010 (UTC)
- i don't see any big column XD but you could do that by putting three <div>s that need to have float:left and width:X (in your case 33% would make sense) - Y0_ich_halt 20:01, 12 October 2010 (UTC)

Guild Wars Wiki:Elections/2010-10 bureaucrat election/Why[edit]
I nominated you, by the way.--neshot. 0:06, 15 October 2010.
- Thanks, I'll consider it. — Why 00:53, 15 October 2010 (UTC)
- I haven't been on in FOREVER, however I believe you should do it. :) -- WoB 23:21, 20 October 2010 (UTC)
- You're a tad late blood ;) Really though, I think at the moment I'm of more use in my current state of sysophood than I would be in a bureaucrat seat. I think I'm impartial and objective enough for the job, but I prefer using that ability to try and solve conflicts before they escalate, instead of afterwards when they are brought up for arbitration. Besides, I think my actions as a sysop, over a year, contribute more positively to the wiki than the few arbitrations I would be involved in as a bureaucrat during the same timespan. If there were no other good candidates for the bureaucrat seat I'd feel obliged to run, but there are enough competent candidates listed already. — Why 23:44, 20 October 2010 (UTC)

In reply to my wall post...[edit]
Don't delete it actually, I'm not in that guild/alliance anymore so If I got a page deleted they would be angry, even though the page is pretty useless.
But nah, keep it. --Yo Jm 15:05, 20 October 2010 (UTC)

Hey man, I need your help[edit]
Ok, so I recently started playing again and I noticed that almost EVERY NPC and Hero that has a voice, their voice actor is not listed. I think that this should be fixed. I proposed a minor change to the NPC box that will put the Voice Actor and add the category of voice actor to the wiki. Mind helping putting that minor addition into the box? I forgot how to read wiki code.... Much appreciated. Project page and Box-- Wings of Blood 01:52, 4 November 2010 (UTC)
Sorry m8, but I don't really dare touching that template. — Why 15:34, 4 November 2010 (UTC)- Okay, I tried a little something 1 2, but I want you to get confirmation from someone who knows more about wikicode before you implement it. I'm not sure if I got everything right. — Why 15:46, 4 November 2010 (UTC)
- Also, I have no clue what those comments between the lines are O.o they were present in the original template too. — Why 15:48, 4 November 2010 (UTC)
- I think the coder had a sense of humor. Bro, I need your help, do you agree with what I'm trying to do? I'm just making sure that the voice actors are being recognized correctly. Here, you go. Lucian Shadowborn 00:27, 7 November 2010 (UTC)

This is unreal[edit]
I have never seen this much vandalism on the Game Updates, and it is very annoying. Let me know if I can help police the updates page, or does the GW wiki have a lock feature? Gut Monk
- Feel free to revert vandalism as you see it. We'll have this locked down soon enough though. — Why 02:38, 10 December 2010 (UTC)
- You ninjad my prot. :( — Raine Valen 2:39, 10 Dec 2010 (UTC)
- Take heart, we're not exactly done yet. Go get blockin'! — Why 02:40, 10 December 2010 (UTC)
- Judging by the amount of IPs... they're changing them to nullify the block...--~~Lotus~~ 02:40, 10 December 2010 (UTC)
- Do we need to block them? The page is protted, and they don't seem to be doing much else, now that their toy is gone. — Raine Valen 2:43, 10 Dec 2010 (UTC)
- Aw come on, ain't swinging banhammers fun to you? It does indeed seem to have stopped now though. — Why 02:44, 10 December 2010 (UTC)
- They (he/she?) is probably choosing its next target.. or something... --~~Lotus~~ 02:45, 10 December 2010 (UTC)
- Banning IPs for more than 24 hours is pointless, since IP-changes are forced by the provider. Protecting the articles more quickly would be more efficient. –aRTy 02:47, 10 December 2010 (UTC)
- Not all of them are (meaning that a longer block could work in those cases), but these are clearly not static IPs... — Raine Valen 2:51, 10 Dec 2010 (UTC)

- (Edit conflict) Have you ever swung a hammer? At first, it's like, "WOO I'M SMASHING STUFF!", and it's wonderful! But then, after, say, 51, it becomes, "Oh god why am I doing this? Can it be over now please?"
- One well-placed, satisfying block is nice. 51 blocks for IPs that aren't doing anything? Unnecessary janitorial task. — Raine Valen 2:51, 10 Dec 2010 (UTC)
- I decided that, since the IPs were editing eachother's vandalism, this could be a coordinated action by multiple people. That's why I blocked pretty much all of them - there's bound to be a couple of static IPs among them if it were indeed multiple people. At the very least I'd have forced them to get another proxy. Besides, it doesn't take long to do some janitoring. Happy to help out. — Why 02:56, 10 December 2010 (UTC)
