Kyhlo was the name of a fortress in Ascalon, home of Ascalon's Chosen. The exact location of it in Ascalon was not known.

• During the early beta events of 2004, Kyhlo was the in-game name of what is now Ascalon City; it was apparently changed due to translation issues.
• Although Kyhlo was located at the same spot on the map as Ascalon City, the layout of the location was very different although both locations used Post-Searing visuals and backgrounds.

The only remaining reference to Kyhlo nowadays is the Kyhlo Axe, a weapon that can be crafted by Arthur Ayala in pre-Searing Ascalon City.
