Quest information[edit]
Objectives[edit]
- Acquire 100 Candy Cane Shards by participating in Wintersday activities.
- See Krunch for your reward.
Reward[edit]
Dialogue[edit]
Initial dialogue[edit]
- Krunch
- "Between just you and me (and every person who can hear), the season of the Zephyr is the worst time of the year. The temperature starts rising and the veil of ice is torn, and into vile greenness, icky baby things are born. It's disgusting to invite the awful brightness while it's bleak, and it would be such a blessing if held off for just a week. The chill is quite important, as my awful mother said, for reflection, introspection, and bedecking of your head.
- I see that caught your notice, but I won't condemn your goal, because the more absurd your headpiece, the humbler your soul. Why else would a devoted one, who'd served Grenth all these years, wear such a floppy nightmare up between his grizzled ears? So go and do my master's will and I'll make you this vow: 100 shards of candy cane earns something for your brow."
Reward dialogue[edit]
- Krunch
- "You swear you earned this candy by performing in Grenth's name? Collecting shards for Dwayna has a certain kind of shame. Here is a token in exchange for your malicious work. Exchange it with my brother, Krisp, the haberdasher clerk. And when you get your horns or cap or whatever you're sold, wear it in tribute to the one who'll collect you once you're cold."
Notes[edit]
- Despite the quest summary only mentioning that the player must acquire 100 candy cane shards, they actually have to be handed over to Krunch to receive the reward.
- The Quest Log displays "Krunch (Lion's Arch)" even if your character acquired this quest in Kamadan.
Bug.
- Unlike other quests, this quest is not indicated with a "(Completed)" beside the quest name in the Quest Log after the objective is completed.
- You cannot accept the quest reward while your character's inventory is full and the inventory holds another Frozen Accessory Token in it, even though Frozen Accessory Tokens are stackable.
Trivia[edit]
- This quest was introduced in Wintersday 2012.
