Erasculio Issue -- 15:08, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
- Issue
- This skill is too weak as it is. There is no significant advantage over Arcane Thievery or Diversion to deserve an elite slot, the skill stealing aspect of the skill is useless.
- Suggestion
- I have two suggestions on how to fix this:
- a) "Elite Hex spell. For 6 seconds, the next time target foe uses a skill, that skill is disabled for 10...30...35 seconds, Simple Thievery is replaced by that skill, and it uses your Domination attribute instead of its normal attribute". Of course, recharge and energy cost would have to be increased, but this would then become an elite version of Diversion, that doesn't last as long but that allows the disabled skill to be used by the stealing Mesmer.
- b) "Interrupt target foe. If that foe was using a skill, Simple Thievery is replaced by this skill for 10..30..35s and this skill uses your Domination attribute instead". This was actually Patccmoi's idea, and it makes it easier to control exactly which skill would be stolen. Again, unlike in the current version of this skill, the stolen spell/whatever would be useable by the Mesmer.
Yullive Issue -- 14:29, 7 September 2008 (UTC)(UTC)
- Issue
- same as above
- Suggestion
- Make the spell a bit more like Arcane Thievery:
Spell. For 5...29...35 seconds, one random, recharged skill is disabled for target foe, and Simple Thievery is replaced by that skill and the skill uses Domination attribute instead of its normal attribute.
Desocupado's Issue -- (09:58 27 November 2008 (GMT-3))
- Issue
- Same as above.
- Suggestion
- 5 0,25 20
- Effect: Elite Spell. Interrupt target foe's action. If that action was a skill, that skill is disabled for 5...13...17 seconds, and Simple Thievery is replaced by that skill. You can use that skills as if you had (0..9..12) attribute in it's attribute.
ShadowFog Issue--ShadowFog 15:40, 17 March 2009 (UTC)
- Issue
- Same as top page, Power Block(for spells, duh!) and Symbols of Inspiration are better alternative.
- Suggestion
- Elite Spell. Interrupts an action. Interruption effect: If a skill was interrupted, that skill is disabled and Simple Thievery becomes that skill (5...17...20 seconds). Spells you cast use your Fast Casting attribute instead of their normal attributes.
- The idea is for the player to have a choice: Either interrupt any kind of skill(preferably spells), disable any kind of spell and for reward he gets that spell(still uses Fast Casting to prevent other classes using it) or just get a spell(Symbols of Inspiration) instantly. A wait or rush attitude.
