Boro 's Issue
- Issue
- 1: skill-less no-attribute heavy-damage spell, 2: multiple instances of the skill can be used on the same foe.
- Suggestion
- Cry of Pain
10 ¼ 10 Interrupt target foe and all foes in the area. deal 18..20 damage + 8 damage for each rank in fast casting to all interrupted foes.
- Reasoning&Explanation
- By changing the damage to depend on interruption, I eliminated the possibility of cryspikes, and echo-chained cries. I also minimized the rank dependency and changed it to a mesmer-only skill.

- Issue
- Damage is too high for armor ignoring AoE damage, casting time is too low; can be used brainlessly by any profession. It basically makes the Elementalist obsolete as a damage dealer.
- Suggestion
- Any of the following will do:
- Make the damage non-armor ignoring.
- Only deal damage on a succesful interrupt.
- Increase castig time to 3 seconds so Mesmers get more out of it than other professions.
- Increase the recharge to 30 seconds.
Seriously, a skill is overpowered if a way is named after is (i.e. CryWay). That by itself should raise the red-nerf-flags.

- Issue
- This skill, although being a powerful PvE mesmer skill, doesn't encourage mesmers into pve settings like they should. This ends up getting used by either random farming builds or proffessions which can afford the spamming of skills. Also, high any-proffession aoe damage kills pve settings, and relegates most high-end pve to using one build over and over.
- Solution
- Tone down the damage based off of the SS rank, and then add 3 damage per Fast Casting rank,or change it so the SS rank changes the damage each point of Fast Casting does (Sasy, 1-6 per rank of Fast Casting) Also, make the interupt mandatory, since that's more mesmerish anyways.

- No attribute stuff is bad for the game.
- Solution
- Change damage to 5...20...25(that scales with Sunspear rank) and add 5 damage for every rank of illusion magic skill.
