All the suggested nerfs would make it inferior to Clumsiness and Wandering Eye. Cryway could be nerfed by changing it to a delayed damage or damage over time hex. -- Gordon Ecker (talk) 04:02, 11 December 2008 (UTC)
- Clumsiness and Wandering Eye were majorly buffed, so it's not a totally fair comparison, but...yeah. Cryway could be nerfed by removing the AoE. Vili 04:10, 11 December 2008 (UTC)
- I don't think Cryway should be nerfed until other skills are buffed to keep all professions competitive in high-end PvE. -- Gordon Ecker (talk) 04:21, 11 December 2008 (UTC)
- I'd make a comment about Power Creep, but you're right... all classes should be able to compete equally in Slavers' Exile, Domain of Anguish, UW, FoW, The Deep, and Urgoz. It's not fair to keep it restricted to just a few specific builds. Vili 04:30, 11 December 2008 (UTC)

- It'd Probably be good if they tied this to Fast Casting like other skills are tied to primary attributes, just to give an incentive to use mesmers. Tone down the SS rank damage and then give extra damage according to Fast Cast Rank. Arcdash 01:59, 16 December 2008 (UTC)

- Too much IMO. I think the other suggestions would be better options to deal with stacking and / or secondary abuse while keeping the skill useful on a primary mesmer. -- Gordon Ecker (talk) 01:05, 3 June 2009 (UTC)

June 18 Nerf
Could ANYONE explain me this nerf? It was completely unnessasary, if you ask me. Cryway in the anguish works with some changes, too. So why did you change this? EPIC FAIL, is all I've to say. Badde 19:04, 19 June 2009 (UTC)
