Battle Rage Battle Rage

Done25's Issue -- Icky skill

Discussion

Issue
Without an IAS you can't spike (a 33% attack speed gives you 1.5 attacks for every one you would normally have.).
Suggestion
Add a small IAS and increase the cost to 6 adrenaline.
Alternate Suggestion
Change to a skill so that stances can be used.

Lilondra's Issue

Suggestion
Drop the ims and give it a ias instead. (both is OP).

Lann's Issue -- 12 June, 2008

Issue

Kinda bad in pvp, as you can't use an ias

Suggestion
  • Remove double adrenaline, and give it an ias

Shai Meliamne's Issue -- 15 June, 2008

Issue
It is meant for pressure, but no IAS can be used, reducing the effectiveness of this skill (200% adrenaline vs 150% attack speed). Although the speed boost is nice it isn't very good pressure and on top of that it removes all adrenaline upon ending, while it ends on every non attack skill, basically leaving the user of this skill crippled.
Suggestions
1. Add an IAS, perhaps while lowering or removing the adrenaline boost, increasing adrenal cost and/or lowering the duration
2. Remove the "Lose All Adrenaline" part - tho this may be a bit powerfull. Perhaps remove the speed buff, so it will be a skill like "For Great Justice!" but then elite and a stance. I think people may use this like ppl are also using Rage of the Ntouka
3. Make it a skill so an IAS can be used along with this, even though that could mean that the stance would have to be used before this, which will probably make it fairly pointless, but at least it can then be used in certain niche builds
4. Make it only lose all adrenaline when a non adrenal skill is being used, so at least heals like Lion's Comfort may be used in combination with this

Falconeye's Issue

  • Issue: See Above
  • Suggestion: 4a. Elite Stance. (5...17...20 seconds.) Move and attack 33% faster. Gain 30...90...105% more adrenaline from attacks. Lose all adrenaline whenever you use any non-adrenaline skills.

This skill is trash

Issue
Ends if you use a non-attack skill
Suggestion
Remove "ends if you use a non-attack skill". Reduce duration to 5...13...16, reduce adrenaline to 3.

Sneakys Suggestion

Issue
No IAS, ends on nonadren
Suggestion
Battle Rage Battle Rage. 5 Energy20 Recharge time
Elite Skill. For 0...4...5seconds you gain 0...12...15 Health and 0...1...1 points of adrenaline per 50...18...10 Health Points you deal or receive.

Fixing this is so easy

Battle Rage Battle Rage. 5 Energy 15 Recharge time
For 1...12...15 seconds, you attack 33% faster and gain 100 % more adrenaline from attacks, but you take double damage.
What was so hard about it?
I sure hope you are being sarcastic, because this is way too overpowered.Pika Fan 20:14, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
No. Or explain why. 92.141.144.204 00:16, 20 February 2009 (UTC)
Because it is an easily mantainable Frenzy + "FGJ!" combo? Done25 04:01, 20 February 2009 (UTC)
Maybe you missed the elite and double damage part. 92.141.144.204 13:19, 20 February 2009 (UTC)
People spam Frenzy even with the double damage on it so it isn't really that much of a deterrent. As for the elite part? This deserves to take up another slot on your bar as well as your elite slot simply due to energy based 100% double adrenaline uptime. Done25 21:33, 20 February 2009 (UTC)
Like Sprint? 92.141.144.204 01:00, 21 February 2009 (UTC)
That made no sense. Done25 18:37, 21 February 2009 (UTC)
I am glad you admit that you are making no sense. Indeed, assuming Battle Rage goes the same "elite frenzy" route ad Primal Rage, Primal Rage would still allow for way more damage. 92.141.144.204 19:43, 21 February 2009 (UTC)
Plz obs more. You would only need 2 or 3 seconds to fully charge your strongest adren skills, especially if you hit straight up with shock. Way too op'd. King Neoterikos 21:19, 21 February 2009 (UTC)
Do you even play the game besides Jade Quarry? Warrior's Endurance allows that, except better. 92.141.144.204 22:59, 21 February 2009 (UTC)
Do YOU play the game? Endurance recovers your energy not your adren.
Please tell me you are trolling. You can spam +40 attacks every three seconds with warrior's endurance. 92.141.144.204 01:41, 22 February 2009 (UTC)
Warrior energy skills are far less effective and diverse than the adrenaline based ones. Hammer Bash every third hit? Disrupting Chop every third hit? Just think a little, please. Perhaps this would be balanced if it had a longer recharge, so it couldn't be maintained? -Woopdeedoo 04:56, 22 February 2009 (UTC)
Theorycrafting. It would be true if human minds were as precise as game mechanics. If there is a way for that to be overpowered, it's not "it would be", it's "it is", because it's already used in the game. IWAY teams use Battle Rage. That means they have that overpowered permanent 100% adrenaline boost, and they don't even have to choose between that and IAS, they have both. Not only that, but they don't take double damage, they have supermending instead. They spam Disrupting Chop and "Fear Me!". They don't win, even with a far more powerful version than a theorical overpowered elite frenzy.
If only maintainability or 100% are the problem for you, that's okay, I don't care anyway, Izzy-wannabees that spend hours discussing numbers waste their time. If you were a skill balancer and looked at this page, you wouldn't care about the numbers, you would care about the concept. The concept I propose is "Elite frenzy with adrenaline boost". Do what you want with that. 92.141.144.204 15:36, 22 February 2009 (UTC)

My suggestion

Battle Rage Battle Rage. 8 Adrenaline 4 Recharge time
Elite Skill. For 1...7...8 seconds, you gain 100 % more adrenaline from attacks and move 25% faster.
Note that it's a skill, so you can use a stance with it. The adrenaline cost is high, but not prohibitve, since it manages itself. Also, the duration is maintainable, but not easily, since you need to charge it while still under its effect to maintain it. -Woopdeedoo 05:19, 22 February 2009 (UTC)
