Archive 1: pre-December 11th, 2008 update
Primal Rage (last update: December 11th, 2008)
Ulterion's Issue
- Issue
- The December update was a step in the right direction. However, the double-damage robs this new change of it's true potential. Most players would rather continue using other builds with frenzy simply because they'd rather have more spike power compressed into an elite. Most regular attacks have some reliance on elite attacks to begin with, and spending an elite on "rush" and "frenzy" compacted still isn't feasible enough for the exchange. Battle Rage even offers conditionless IMS and double adrenaline, thus far-outweighing Primal Rage (in its current state).
- Suggestion #1
5 0 4 Elite Stance. For 1...12...15 seconds, you attack and move 33% faster, but you take 100...75...50% damage.
- Suggestion #2
5 0 4 Elite Stance. For 1...12...15 seconds, you attack and move 33% faster and your strikes have 16 (or 20)% armor penetration, but you take double damage.
- Either of these changes would offer a reason to exchange elite attacks such as Eviscerate or Cripslash for Primal Rage. It'd work well with conjure, making this elite worthwhile and simultaneously changing the meta.
Dark Morphon's Issue
- Issue
- Warriors shouldn't have got RaO.
- Suggestion
- Replace the movement increase with 20% armor penetration. If that proves too powerful, make it 10% instead.
Frosty's Issue
- Issue
- Warriors with RaO with 33%IMS are too strong (double damage is pretty meh since rush will be readily available ALL the time).
- Suggestion
- 33% IAS, Double Damage, same length but you deal +1...12...15 damage to foes using skills.
Leeloof Esp's Issue
- Issue
- Warriors with 33%IAS and 33%IMS are too strong.
- Suggestion
- 25% IAS%,25%IMS,25-33% percent more damage taken instead of double.
