Hmmm. There are parts of this I like and parts I don't like. First things first I don't like the hook sword. A hook sword or any type of sword falls under the sword category and thus its taken by the warrior. I personally don't think it would be a good idea to have multiple weapon mastery's for the same weapon. And I also don't think it should be race restricted. However the profession it self is not bad at all. The quarterstaff thing is cool to. Kinda has that old Chinese martial arts movie feel to it. but I need something to help me see how it could add something new to the game.--Yozuk 06:38, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
The weapons are an issue...I would just be happy with the quarterstaff as the main weapon. --PCGamer07 11:45, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
I do like the quarterstaff. But I also need more info on how they are different from existing professions. I need to know how they stand out from the rest. Examples: Assassins has high critical and the only profession that can remove both stances and enchantments, Warriors are the only profession with more then one weapon mastery and the only one with passive armor penetration, and Mesmers are the only caster profession to use stances and also have fast casting. You know an example like that or something.--Yozuk 08:01, 31 July 2008 (UTC)

that helps.--Yozuk 07:39, 6 August 2008 (UTC)

too tanky

currently this looks too much like a buffed up version of the warrior tank, and we all know how those ruin PvP don't we? (not to mention boring PvE)81.207.48.216 07:45, 6 August 2008 (UTC)

Well, the Disciple isn't really a primary tank unit since his armor is not that strong for tanking and their max health will be lower than that of the warrior. The other reason I made to make the Disciple not a sole offensive tank is lowering its attack points. The main purpose of the Disciple is not to attack, but to defend themselves. --PCGamer07 11:51, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
