- I think moving/jumping to dodge while attacking adds too much complexity to combat and would be less fun. Players already need to consider what skills to bring, equipment and runes, and activating skills at the correct time to interrupt/counter enemy attacks/hexes/healing. As a warrior, I need to be watching the field for targets who have over-extended beyond their healing line, or pay attention to exactly what enchantment was cast on my target (i.e. guardian means I can't count on attacks to hit anymore so might hold back on Final Thrust so I don't lose all adrenaline for a miss, mending means I should go ahead and finish the target off), monitor my status for effects like blind or evil anti-melee hexes like Spiteful Spirit. I also need to know where my healing and support members are so I don't overextend and die too. If you add in having to manually control my character by running/strafing/jumping to keep some irritating jump-monkey in front of me so I can hit, my head will implode and/or my keyboard will explode. I'm sure a certain percentage of the GW population has played enough (1000 hours plus?) to handle all the tactics with this addition of keyboard button reflex keying off optical stimulus of moving targets, but more casual players like my dad are intimidated enough with just understanding and remembering hundreds of skills for multiple professions, let alone playing an action game while doing it. - Elder Angelus 21:08, 24 September 2008 (UTC)
