I've read the base of this idea somewhere on a talk page (don't know which one), but I didn't saw a suggestion on this yet. So I've worked it out a bit. What do you guys think about it? --Sir Bertrand 15:20, 3 July 2008 (UTC)
- It would make a lot of sense to have this system in. It sounds like something that's too advanced for Anet (no offense) but there is no other reason why they cant try. It'll cripple farming since monster spawns will not always be the same, which is great! But I think it would help if players could get something like a scout's report from an NPC that will let them know on the current state of monster spawns and locations. Then, players can decide whether they want to go and farm that area or not. (Terra Xin 23:46, 3 July 2008 (UTC))
- Someone get this man a metal. As for the practicallity of it, if Anet plans on having something like this event system they're describing, then this idea for respawn bases should not be beyond thier abilities. I always hated monster farming and thier rediculous reappearing outr of nowhere. Demonic enemies might have rifts they can jump out of, but giant spiders just plain don't--Shai Halud 21:13, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
Each race should have one indeffinate stronghold that can never be taken but can be seiged and blocked off so you can chase away the creatures but the blockade wears off after awhile and the creatures can respawn again. Then there is a never a time when suddenly jungle trolls force the spiders onto say the Jade Sea. They just retreat to their capital or migration spot or hibernation cave or whatever. 70.67.146.192 23:24, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
