I would agree with lowering the damage reduction but also lowering the recharge. Personally I think this should be more viable on actual assassins, and though that's not likely to happen, increasing the duration when it ends on an attack skill will make it even less likely to happen. However, a lower recharge might make it useful for, say, running around in AB, at least (but of course for that you need to lower the damage reduction a bit since 50% less damage for, say, ~50% of the time equates to roughly one quarter damage overall, which is a big reduction for just sticking this on your bar and using it all the time - *cough* monk abuse *cough*).

This isn't going to get buffed unless monks stop using it.
Personally, I think this skill is fine. Assassins can use it, just use deadly arts skills instead of dagger skills. Or use it as a quick getaway. Monks who use it aren't overpowered. It's just half damage for a few seconds with a speed boost, and most don't invest much into shadow arts. If they did, then their heals would suffer from it, which is balance. Also, said monks are depriving themselves of the actually overpowered shield bash. The 30 second recharge makes it balanced. Like they say: If it's not broken, don't fix it. Why the hell are people complaining about this skill? it isn't abused, it saves a monk from mabie 1 spike of damage, the next spike he's screwed if he doesn't activate guardian/return at the right time.--66.192.104.13 14:22, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
