Unless the cost drops to 10 or less this will forever remain a joke(except if you add auto IAS buff, which will never happen anyway) so yeah, drop the cost and recharge.. and then nerf it (a bit) if its overpowered, which would still be unlikely.--SiDima 00:12, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
IW is a bit like R/N toucher, the problem isnt so much that the build is bad. its that they put out a steady dps, a bit TOO steady. theres never any sudden spike burst, you could even set a computerized macro to when to heal yourself when fighting against these since they will never really change the pace 76.26.189.65 08:02, 2 April 2008 (UTC)

I really can't see anything. Needs a total rework... Uhmm... Okay, here it goes: For 20..40 seconds, target foe cannot deal damage in melee, but whenever he would deal damage, he interrupts his target. 5 cost, 15 reload, 1 cast? maybe? IW is only really used in PvE farming and in it's current form, I don't think there should be any buffs to the skill. It's not exactly a skill that would promote better playing in either PvE or PvP. PlacidBlueAlien 12:50, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
The 10 Energy change would be good. I think, though, that perhaps we're seeing this the wrong way. What we really need is a new skill to compliment it, like:
Illusionary Armour. 10 Energy 1 Activation time 25 Recharge time.
For 10...22...25 seconds, you have 60...68...70 armour and take 15% less physical damage from foes suffering from an Illusion Magic hex.
I think something like that would not only be a bit different (armour buffs on a mesmer?), it would also synergise with IW very well, making IW mesmers less fragile and thus more viable. Not like it's ever gonna happen, though, is it? Maybe I should make a page for all the new skill ideas I have...

Together with Illusion of Weakness, which needs a buff too.
