that seems more like a nerf to me... considering your adding recharge to it 76.26.189.65 07:52, 2 April 2008 (UTC)

Lol, You are kidding? 2 seconds recharge more for a better cast time and normal spell range are a buff, not a nerf... >.< A. von Rin 12:44, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
if the skill is "weak" and needs to be "buffed" just "improve" the "numbers" instead of "nerfing" them. (and im sorry about the quotation marks) 76.26.189.65 15:36, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
um... the "suggestion" would "be" a huge "buff". --Lonelypixel 22:25, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
just by this skill being target other ally warrents it being stronger heals then orison, so i dont see why they made it so much weaker by comparison 76.26.189.65 23:04, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
I don't know if calling this Healing Whisper would make much sense at that point, I know half range is a pain and I've had team-mates die because of it, but I like bringing it for the 1 second reuse time on my bar, and it casts fast and heals a lot with Healer's Boon. I'm not sure I agree that this needs to be changed. If it was changed, I'd like to see it synergize with the healing prayer Touch spells, although I can't imagine a logical way to do that; making this spell provide the caster a running speed buff would help, but it also wouldn't make any sense with a whisper, would it? - Elder Angelus 20:17, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
A survivor friend of mine still lives cause of this spell+Patient Spirit+Dwayna's Kiss+Divine Spirit+HB, which all of these combined saved him from 10 secs of really heavy spiking. I have to admit that it took me quite a while to get used to Healing Whisper and i had a lot of deaths because of the half range but once i got used to it, it proves one of the most important skills in my bar. Definitely a worth skill to put on your bar, i don't think its underpowered in any way, overpowered maybe in the right hands. It just requires more skill from the player than Orison of Healing and Ethereal Light which both are fine alternatives if you have problems with the half range. Eth 09:32, 22 July 2008 (UTC)
Nerf Healer's Boon, that skill is broken.
Orison and Ethereal both suck without healer's boon. In fact, all healing prayers are good with hboon and suck without it.71.174.16.18 20:28, 24 September 2008 (UTC)
Please sign your comments. And yes A von Rin what you are suggesting is a) a nurf, cause Healing Whisper is used for its super fast recharge, b) an overpowered version of Ethereal Light. Are you playing a monk at all? Why have you opened all these issues pages, i don't think you understand very well the game mechanics. A basic principle about skills and balancing is that none of them should be more powerful than another skill of the same attribute. Instead it should be different and provide different things in different circumstances. Healing Whisper provides the caster a bonus both to healing and recharge time if compared to Orison of Healing, which is the baseline spell of healing prayers, at the cost of being a half ranged spell. What you suggested is just another healing spell, very similar to Orison but with much better stats at the cost of only 1 sec recharge, and by far superior to Ethereal Light. Answer to all the "blabla" above me: Compare Ritus to Monks, then you understand all my suggestions on the monk pages. Skills should be balanced to each other by their own, not by their primary attribute (especially @ the guy above me). PD: Unsigned comment was not mine. I don't fail @ signing... -.- A. von Rin 23:54, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
So what you saying is that if a warrior has a self heal, that self heal should have the same power as a monk self heal or a rit self heal - whichever is the strongest? That would make all professions pretty much the same, with just different names on their skills which otherwise would do about the same thing... (I didn't said about you on signing, just couldn't refer to that guy.) Eth 08:39, 7 August 2008 (UTC)

Second Suggestion

Amazingly good idea, should be seriously considered. Could even be disabled longer, and still be a good skill. 72.136.116.193 22:25, 5 July 2008 (UTC)
