Spura's issue

Your point is good, but I just would change it like this: "Shout. Allies in earshot gain 1...8...10 Energy. Only affects allies below 75% Energy." Decrease Recharge to 15. More usefull on coordinated teams than it is atm. A. von Rin 16:33, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
Would need numbers reduced then because 10 energy every 15 seconds is more then a party wide blood ritual (75% hp isnt THAT big a deal)Lυмιиαяυs 13:10, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
Which is the reason my suggestion is worded like that. If spammed it would stop giving energy(since everyone is at 10 already). --Spura 15:34, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
A large part of the thought behind pressure teams with no spike is that eventually the monks will run out of energy. Giving one skill that completely removes a team concept from the meta would suck. As it is, when the monks run low on energy, people will start going below 75% hp, including the monks themselves. That would be when you would use the skill. Keep in mind, also, that a lot of teams go for monks first or second. --Angelic Loki 18:10, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
Maybe "all allies below 75% health or 50% energy" or something, and keep recharge at 20. Possibly increase cost so that the paragon who's using it doesn't get so big a gain from it (8-10 + 7-8 from leadership - 5 from use = 10-13, which is a bit too much) and/or decrease the energy gain slightly now the condition's easier to meet. Then you could bring it as an anti-pressure skill, but it would still cost a slot and only get you, say, 1 Energy every 2.5 seconds, or about 1 pip (is that right) - if it was used constantly on recharge and you met the condition, although it is AoE. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:82.25.180.160 (talk).

213.100.146.85's issue

IMO this suggestion should be removed, I don't think it's serious, and even if it is, it's still a bad suggestion. -- Gordon Ecker 01:02, 29 September 2008 (UTC)

Function Needs Rewording

Both "Never Surrender!" and "Never Give Up!" need to be reworded. I always get so confused on the below 75% meaning. IMO, it's saying when allies are at 25% health [ie they're down 75%] then these skills take effect. Waiting for this to happen to give x energy [or x health regen] would be retarded. I've tested this skill out in the Isle of the Nameless via the obelisk and that's when I learned it really means when any ally has 75% or less health this skill takes effect. The function themselves, when compared to other skills of this and other classes, is quite ballanced.. But again, IMO, the way it's described is confusing and throws people off to the point of not using the skill. So to easily sum it up, could you possibly just reword how the function works? Since I've learned what it does I use both skills avidly on my shouter as well as my Peace and Harmony Jade Monk Runner for Jade Quarry and I like the skill just as it is. [Quick sidenote: Because I refered to both skills should I copy this and apply it to "Never Surrender!" as well?] Magic User Magic Signature Ico.jpg Talk 03:52, 8 June 2009 (UTC)

Not misleading at all. "Below 75%" means any value less than 75%. And even if the description was a problem, it would be a text issue, not a balance issue, text problems should be reported at ArenaNet talk:Text bugs. -- User Gordon Ecker sig.png Gordon Ecker (talk) 04:58, 8 June 2009 (UTC)
Sorry then.. IMO it wasn't a bug, it just wasn't clear, so I stuck it here for "feedback." Magic User Magic Signature Ico.jpg Talk 15:26, 8 June 2009 (UTC)
ArenaNet:Text bugs is probably a poorly named page. It's intended to be used to report text issues in general, not just bugs. -- User Gordon Ecker sig.png Gordon Ecker (talk) 11:08, 9 June 2009 (UTC)
