While I don't agree with the suggestion, or the proposed issue (paragons are worthless? Ritualists are worthless? lolol), I agree that the AI could use a drastic buff and the monster imbaness a small debuff. make the game a bit more skill-requiring. -- NUKLEAR User NuclearVII signature 3.jpgIIV 09:06, 25 May 2008 (UTC)

This wont happen, even if it would be amazing if the ai didnt hit like morons with SV and stuff, anet doesnt care about pve. Now that the pve/pvp balance is here, pve wont get any updates anymore. the proof is the buff to shadowform, apparently being immortal is fine.Oni 19:42, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

Eh, shadow form didn't really change, other than being EASIER to use. That's the real issue- they made the AI so dumb and easy to manipulate that they had to make monsters incredibly imba. If you need proof, go look at dinos. Twisting Jaws is a nearly perfect example- they couldn't make the AI fight intelligently, so they couldn't give them good skill builds, and decided that, in order to make them "hard", they'd just give them a skill that any player would kill to have because of how cheap it is. GWEN dungeon bosses would've been amazing if they had intelligent builds and used them intelligently. How awesome would fighting some war boss (the Jotun one in Darkrime Delves, forget his name) without Giant Stomp, but instead have him intelligently using, say, shock axe or some hammer build. --Kalas Silvern 19:11, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
/agree but as long as izzy is balancer that is not going to happen lets blame him WHERE ARE THE TORCHES Lilondra 09:43, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
OK, this is a bit of an old topic, but I still feel I need to say I totally agree. Monsters are stupid but super-powerful. Instead, they should make them cleverer, but tone down their strength. I would rather face challenging foes I have to outwit rather than someone who can do 300 damage in a hit. That's just not fun. Furthermore, people shouldn't have to use "broken" builds or stuff like 55hp monks to win - rather, they should be able to do it with balanced teams, even teams with henchmen and/or heroes in them (though it's OK for this to be more of a challenge), and just win by being better.
