This works better on Dervishes than on Assassins. :p Still, it isn't that bad combined with a condition removal skill. Nicky Silverstar 08:05, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

That tends to happen to us a lot. What assassin's need is a vanilla shadow step. It has to be cheap and not deal too much damage or hinder to yourself. Perhaps as a setback it could only shadowstep so far, so the opponent has at least a split second to spare. It has to be somewhat spammable, something that you could use after almost every chain of attacks. Unfortuneately I can already see the attack being abused by many other professions. Somehow the distance that you shadow step has to be linked to the assassin or his skills, without making it too hard to shadowstep without maxing the skill. Єяøהħ 02:22, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
For linking the distance, how about XX% of spell range, where XX = (your Critical Strikes attribute) / 15 ? This way, the closer you get to max CS, the closer it is to normal spell range like the shadow steps we currently have, but other professions would be stuck at 0%. Furthermore, you could divide by 12 (or another smaller number) instead of 15 to add some utility as an escape skill as well. Stan Thompson talk 16:30, 31 March 2008 (UTC)

This skill has a great synergy on caster characters going /A for Assassins Promise. It has it's uses, just not for assassins. Axel Zinfandel 20:19, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

Blindness needs to be removed altogether. 76.64.189.145 04:26, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

I believe this skill was made with the intention that it'd be used by caster sins who spec into Deadly Arts. For them the blind is not an issue because they'll be using Dancing Daggers pressuring and other spells for spiking and they have Deadly Paradox so recharge isn't a problem either. I use this in my DA build and I can constantly use it because of Assassin's Promise. Coupled with Dark Escape (which doesn't ends because it doesn't ends from casting), you got more defense than you really need even in HM. RadaArashi 22:05, 18 May 2009 (UTC)
