Lol. This skill does more damage than dual shot and has same recharge and energy cost. Why buff this and not dual shot instead??? User:Crimmastermind

Because this is PvE only.
This skill will also increase the effectiveness of all 'on-hit' buffs by +50% compared to Dual Shot. So basically, what Crimm wanted to say, is: this skill is already a great improvement over Dual Shot (a well balanced skill). So why change it? 145.94.74.23 09:45, 2 December 2008 (UTC)

10 recharge AND 10 energy is way too much for this. If I want to spend half of my time waiting for skills to recharge I'll go to WoW. Dual Shot was 6 second recharge when Build Wars launched, it got nerfed because of range spike. Monsters are not going to complain about range spike, and anyone who runs range spike in PvE is bad.
