Underwood's Discussion

Just thought I would bring arcing shot to attention since it's never used. And might be a nice addition to ranger bars. Iunno.--Underwood 02:58, 12 August 2008 (UTC)

Yea, I agree that rangers need something to end stances, but you would have to up the energy to 10 and get rid of extra damage or add some sort of bad point about it, because all stance removals have a drawback. Wild Blow loses all adrenaline (which is important on a war), Wild Throw requires adrenalin (hard to get if the foe has a stance) and Wild Strike is an off-hand (lead attack may be blocked if they are in a stance). Maybe have a scaled energy loss if a stance is removed, such as "if a stance if removed, you lose 4...2...1 energy" Crimmastermind 20:35, 1 October 2008 (UTC)

Wild strike effectively has no conditional.
You could just change the speed to 33% slower or something, so that at least you can hit with it a bit more.
Stance removal isn't ranger's business. The only skills, that can remove stances directly on foes are those with the "Wild"-prefix: Wild Blow, Wild Strike, Wild Throw. I'm pretty sure this is an inviolably rule. --Igis 21:55, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
Yeah just like Power Shot, Power Attack, Power Blow, Power Lock, Power Spike, are all related. That's ignorant to balance a skill around its name.--Underwood 06:56, 18 November 2008 (UTC)

Wild strike does have a conditional, as golden fox and cimilar unblockables can still miss, thats not to say that its not a really weak conditional that needs to be rethought. I like the proposed changes, but this skill is already reasonable in pve. Kumlekar 06:20, 25 May 2009 (UTC)
