Make Signet of Spirits recharge 15, since the net energy gain is the same with that of Offering of Spirit, but because of the recharge time, the Offering of Spirit is always preferred. I would actually reverse the penalties of the skills, making Offering of Spirit work only if a spirit is within earshot (it's an offering of a spirit that works even if there's no spirit around) and making Signet of Spirits sacrifice health if no spirits in earshot, to make up for the fact that you need at least 5 energy to cast Offering of Spirit, while you can use the signet at any time, even at 0 energy and without a spirit around. This update will probably swap the usage of the two skills, but again, while Offering of Spirit has synergies with spirit usage (and might even argument a move into Communing), Signet of Spirit will not necessarily have any, except to prevent health loss.Krothal 16:07, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
- It would be better if it gave unconditional energy and then gave more if in earshot of a spirit. The problem with Offering of Spirit is that you sac health when not running a spirit build. --Life Infusion «T» 01:54, 5 March 2008 (UTC)
- Well yeah because it's SUPPOSED to be ran with a spirit build. Dark Morphon(contribs) 16:42, 5 March 2008 (UTC)
- Perhaps it would be a good idea if you made it give benefits per spirit in earshot, and give a maximum. If I'm right (and I rarely am) most builds run 1 spirit or two at most. So perhaps buffs to this and the communing line would make spirits a more favourable option. After all, Ritualists are meant to be all about Spirits, aren't they? 88.202.129.250 19:30, 19 April 2008 (UTC)

Krothal's Issue
I think it needs a buff, but I don't think it should be turned into an Offering of Spirit clone, each of the two skills should have its' own benefits and drawbacks. -- Gordon Ecker 07:24, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
- Destroy target allied spirit. The next ritual you create cannot take damage for 1...15 seconds. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Terra Xin (talk).
Wisteria's Issue
I totally agree. Make it scale, to a certain extent, with the number of spirits. Currently, there are a lot of skills with a bonus if near a spirit, but very few with increasing bonuses as the number of spirits increase. A change like this would reward people being able to fit more spirits in and use them rather than just taking Bloodsong or whatever simply to fullfil the critera for these skills.
Falconeye
The portection for 10 seconds does protect against strikes about 60 dmg. I wouldn't support this idea because: I like the idea of stronger spirits, which aren't as easy to destroy as they are right now. I want to further anti-spirit skills like Banishing Strike. Also the Ritualist should get more skills to protect the spritis. I believe, this is a good way to make the spirit spammer more interesting. Active Binding Rituals. ^^ If one skill of the Rit. could protect the spirits against all anti-spirits skills, it wouldn't fit with my idea. May change the anti skills too. Like adding "ignores Signet of Spirits". -- Yullive 11:30, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
- Feel free to create a better -Active- version. This one is aimed at current passive-version, to diminish spikes and possibly even reduce damage spirits inflict upon themselves (like Displacement). --Falconeye 09:07, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
Should the signet also protect enemy spirtis? Yullive 13:39, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
- Its states -all earshot spirits-. Most spirit-related skills do not distinquish between freind & foe (unless otherwise stated) --Falconeye 07:02, 28 April 2009 (UTC).
- Spirits' triggered health loss doesn't count as damage. -- Gordon Ecker (talk) 07:24, 2 May 2009 (UTC)
Azazel's Issue
According to the Signet of Spirits article, their AI prevents them from attacking the same target. -- Gordon Ecker (talk) 03:40, 20 June 2009 (UTC)
- Through observation, it seems that the three spirits attack one at a time (no order of attack) as well. -- Azazel the Assassin/talk 06:02, 20 June 2009 (UTC)
