Deletion
An issue has been stated, no reason for deletion now.--Lancy1214 00:22, 13 September 2008 (UTC)
- tbh, the deletion reason is going to be "issue does not exist" now. -- NUKLEAR IIV 10:00, 13 September 2008 (UTC)
- I don't get that? There is an issue now...maybe I'm slow I'm just not following...--Lancy1214 13:45, 13 September 2008 (UTC)
- Because Weapon of Fury is fine. It sees use, albeit on par with Spirit's strength... But I am not going to be robust about this. -- NUKLEAR IIV 15:39, 13 September 2008 (UTC)
- I've never seen this skill being used by anyone in pvp or pve, it's an underpowered elite and my suggestion is to buff it. --Lancy1214 21:23, 14 September 2008 (UTC)
- I removed the tag. -- NUKLEAR IIV 15:05, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
- I'm a bit worried about this suggestion given how Weapon Spells stack with everything, being a mechanic of its own. For example, imagine a Dervish with this skill, Avatar of Lyssa, any of the Conjures, and Strength of Honor (of course, with a De/E and a Rit/Mo or Mo/Rit). We would have a character able to do considerable amounts of damage by simply auto attacking, using Weapon of Fury not only for the damage boost but mostly for the increased attack speed.
- Weapon Spells, like stances, may be cancelled by casting a new weapon spell. I would suggest, then, turning this skill into a weapon spell with a drawback, such as decreasing attack speed by 33% but increasing the damage of attack skills by +10...30, or something along these lines. It would become an active skill (by both the target and the caster), and hopefully be more useful than it is today. Erasculio 15:58, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
- This isn't a maintained weapon spell as it can only be used as mainly when the frontliner is giving heavy pressure to the backline or spike assistance. But you're right, I don't think increased attacking rate would matter because the warrior/dervish/assasin is bound to be using an increased attacking speed anyways. HMMMMMMMM....--Lancy1214 23:56, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
- Changed from 33% increased attack rate to "Target ally's attacks cannot be blocked", buffed the damage by +5 and added a clause that it fails while under a smiting enchantment to prevent insane damage numbers. --Lancy1214 00:01, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
- Rangers do need energy management badly since all non-interrupt bow attacks have been nerfed until they are useless, and they have 10 energy, 10 recharge, or both.72.43.62.68 03:09, 4 June 2009 (UTC)

PvE
>> http://www.pvxwiki.com/wiki/Build:Rt/any_WoF_Support_Ritualist << Just giving Lancy a few PvE-perspective since she's PvP-centric ^_^ -- Falconeye
- With that build, it would be more advisable to use splinter weapon instead of WoF simply because in pve, you want things to die fast and quickly. That build should more or less have either a restoration elite or another channeling elite such as Offering of Spirit to upkeep with the constant splinter weapon spam. Spamming splinter, ancestors and warmongers should get the job done with greater efficiency than using WoF.--Lancy1214 22:30, 16 September 2008 (UTC)08 (UTC)
