So Communion-oriented based of being interrupted with less emphasis on Spells. Does this recharge itself like Assassin's Promise? Any reason why it cant effect weapon spells or item spells? -- Falconeye -- Current PvE-usage http://www.pvxwiki.com/wiki/Build:Rt/E_WoQ_Support_Ritualist
- No I would think a 15 recharge should be enough and it does not recharge itself. However, the spell is under communing and I made it tie more directly to the attribute line by affecting rituals. Now for weapon spells and item spells, I'm not too sure of that...maybe? I guess...--Lancy1214 18:42, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
Idea is alright but something about it i don't like, like i get 3 instant cast because some one decide to try and interrupt me,
would lead to spells with strong effects that are cast in an instant because of a cheap spell, and not alot you could do. that just how i see it.
but if it was change to:
10 1 15 - (Communing) "For 5...17...20 seconds, target ally has a Weapon of Quickening, Spells and Binding Rituals recharge 25% faster. The next time they are interrupted while cast a spell or binding ritual, that skill is recharge and this skill ends.
it would be alright, keep the idea there somewhat, but not overpowered imo --Metal Sazz 00:14, 17 September 2008 (UTC)
oops! I'm sorry i didn't read the whole thing, Was still thinking of it's old effect where spells and rituals affected it, don't mind me here :). --Metal Sazz 01:17, 17 September 2008 (UTC)
How about...
5 1 15 - (Communing) "(5...19...23 seconds.) Your next 1...3...3 Rituals are activated instantly and Weapon of Quickening ends. The next time you are interrupted, your non-elite Ritualist skills are recharged and Weapon of Quickening ends."
- Both a decent conditional and an awesome unconditional effect (in keeping wtih Rit-theme). The unconditional is still useful for any Rit or Rng hybrid, while the conditional benefits Weapon Spells and Item Spells with little chance for secondary abuse; as Anet did with Master of Magic. ^_^ --Falconeye 21:48, 17 September 2008 (UTC)
- The wording is a bit confusing. Does the weapon spell END when you're done casting or does it persist even though you've casted your binding rituals? I like the idea I'm just asking for clarification.--Lancy1214 18:57, 17 September 2008 (UTC) Sign your comments and make a userpage falconeye!:P--Lancy1214 18:57, 17 September 2008 (UTC)
- BOTH (whichever met-condition comes first) ends just like any other limited-bundle Weapon Spell. The conditional turns a Bad situation into a Boon situation. And I apologies again: with all these forums, wikis, blog, social sites all over the net, I generally refrain from signing/joining anything unless I have interest/reason to, which i do now. ^_^ --Falconeye 21:48, 17 September 2008 (UTC)
