Category talk:Skills named after eponymous NPCs

Isn't the name of the category a bit redundant? I would have called it "Skills named after NPCs" instead. That's ignoring that at least one skill was the other way around, but forget that. Blue Totoro 15:28, 28 July 2018 (UTC)

Well if we just want to shorten it, maybe we could simply rename it to "(List of) Eponymous skills" ? Erszebet (talk) 19:08, 28 July 2018 (UTC)
EDIT I'm also a bit confused about which skills to add ? For instance, Xinrae's Weapon is listed, but Defiant Was Xinrae isn't. Was this intentional ? After which NPC are those skills named ? Erszebet (talk) 19:18, 28 July 2018 (UTC)
Simpler is better, I think. Anyway, "eponymous" here refers to the NPCs and not the skills themselves. The word is usually used in pretty specific situations and can't be used on its own. I'd avoid using it. Also, Defiant Was Xinrae is in the subcategory Item spells with all the others. Blue Totoro 08:09, 29 July 2018 (UTC)
I'm not even sure the term 'eponymous' is used correctly. Most of the skill names listed don't focus on the name itself, but use the name as a proper adjective. From the top of my head there is only a single eponymous skill and that's "Kilroy Stonekin". - Infinite - talk 10:23, 30 July 2018 (UTC)
How about: "Category:Skills which reference NPCs". --Falconeye (talk) 22:48, 30 July 2018 (UTC)
Were you intending to categorize the NPCs or the skills? I'm assuming you meant skills which reference NPCs ; ). G R E E N E R 00:17, 31 July 2018 (UTC)
Or just drop the 'eponymous' from the current name. Whichever is the least work. - Infinite - talk 01:24, 31 July 2018 (UTC)

(Reset indent) [1] Still not the correct terminology, in case people were wondering. - Infinite - talk 17:45, 1 October 2018 (UTC)
