Arrows for Elites[edit]
When you switched the arrows from rArr to rarr, I now get boxes now instead of the arrows. rarr was working fine for me. I'm using IE 6 on this computer. Check Ring of Fire (Mission)#Bosses entries to verify if they only work using rArr for you. Thanks! --Thervold 18:11, 1 March 2007 (EST) Edit: The double arrows seems to appear correctly in Firefox, but not IE. --Thervold 01:56, 2 March 2007 (EST)
Your NPC Proposal Redirects[edit]
If you want, you can mark them for deletion or redirect them to point to Guild Wars Wiki:Formatting/NPCs. I moved your proposal, but I don't think its my decision to change your userspace. Thanks — Gares 11:35, 11 March 2007 (EDT)
- Thanks for the move, I kinda messed it up before, I'll keep the redirects for now. --Erszebet 11:05, 12 March 2007 (EDT)
?[edit]
I'm not sure which template you're referring too. Get back to me on it, and I'll go over my example. Thank you - Katscratched 16:51, 17 March 2007 (EDT)
- I'm sorry, I thought you knew what I meant because you have a link to the template on your userpage under "My Links" ? I'm talking about Guild Wars Wiki:Formatting/NPCs, which is a merged template I created for all NPC article pages. It's made from all the 'old' formatting articles from GWiki. "NPCs" is taken quite literally here (monsters, humans, foes or allies, heroes/henchmen, collectors...you name it. Basic idea for this was to have more consistency in articles. I'd realy like you to re-do your example with the merged template (make sure to read the article as well please ;-) ) and let me know how it works out for you, what can be improved, what's missing etc... --Erszebet 20:08, 17 March 2007 (EDT)
- Oh. Well, that explains my confusion somewhat, since I had been using that as a base. I noticed a few things that were 'off,' looking through it again in responce to your comment, but there were some things that didn't mesh with the template: The NPCInfobox template didn't work (and apparently doesn't exist?) and as I said in my comment, I was trying to not include the incredibly long list of dialouge/quotes directly in the article. If it would make it easier, I could include them, do the article straight from template, and then create an alterate page as an example of what I was suggesting? Currently, I'm just hung up on what would possibly be appropriate to write in a hero's evaluation >_< . - Katscratched 21:00, 17 March 2007 (EDT)
- Actually, I did what I said above. Results are here Template Jin and here Revised Jin. I've read through the article and Talk several times, so I hope I didn't miss anything. I still don't know what to write for evaluation for a Hero, even though the template indicated it should be there and is included,in a very "I don't know what goes here" form, on both examples.
PvP NPCs[edit]
Just wanted to know whether you also consider PvP NPCs for your NPCinfo-template? (Archer, Knight, Footman, Guild Lord) I know there aren't that many of them, but there's no specific parameter for them I believe in the NPCinfo-template. -- CoRrRan (CoRrRan / talk) 14:06, 22 March 2007 (EDT)
- As far as I can see they can be formatted as 'regular' NPCs. Which parameters do they need, 'cause I can't think of any ? Anyway, I'm still figuring out to get that infobox to work :-/ --Erszebet 14:17, 22 March 2007 (EDT)
Shadowy Remnant[edit]
I redirected it to Shadowy Remnants so the page wont get created again. Fall 12:39, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
- Works for me, thank you :) Erszebet 12:40, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
Collector Maps[edit]
Please stop adding collector maps as they don't follow GWW:LOCATIONS. If you wish to try and get them added to GWW:LOCATIONS, go to Guild Wars Wiki talk:Formatting/Locations. — ク Eloc 貢 00:12, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
- Ahum, please stop trying to get my work deleted without proper explanation and reasoning why. That location formatting is still not completed nor approved, and those maps are being used on collector pages as well. I think they do have value. Erszebet 12:03, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
- There is nothing in GWW:NPCS either about collector maps. — ク Eloc 貢 15:28, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
- O.o You're not blind, are you ? In syntax and Example → map1 = map image location and map1-text = map caption. You can provide up to 5 (five!) maps too. Heck, I created that formatting page, and afaik a collector is an NPC like any other. Erszebet 17:41, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
- The formatting is pretty strict here, just discuss about it on the Formatting page and we'll see where it goes from there, ok? — ク Eloc 貢 17:42, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
- Eloc, tone down a bit? This has even been discussed publicly first before Erszebet started to add them (which, imo, shouldn't be needed). Where did the "content over presentation" go? - anja 17:44, 12 December 2007 (UTC)

(Reset indent) Ok, fair enough. We'll continue this discussion on the location formatting talk page, to keep it centralized. Erszebet 18:15, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
Your addition to List of Kryta collectors[edit]
I reverted your addition of Majesty's rest from the Kryta page as it is in the Maguuma Jungle, not Kryta, and listed on that page.-- Wynthyst 13:13, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
- Yes I know that, but those collectors are standing in the 'Kryta' part of Majesty's Rest, not on the 'Maguuma' part so it feels kinda wrong. That's why I added those on the list. Besides, a little redundancy wouldn't hurt on this part so I don't really understand the revert. Erszebet 17:41, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
- [EDIT] Also, you forgot to remove Robin Neils from the list of armor collectors - Kryta. He's standing right next to the general collector, as I'm sure you'll know, so the page still needs some correction. I'll leave it up to you to decide. Erszebet 17:50, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
- My apologies, it is rather confusing. If you go to Majesty's Rest you will see it is counted in the Maguuma Jungle region and that is the page where I got the collector names when I was doing the collector list pages. Yet if you go to the individual collector pages, they are listed in Kryta/Majesty's Rest. So.. I suppose they should actually go onto both lists.-- Wynthyst 12:25, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
- No problem, I added Majesty's Rest back, should be ok now :) Erszebet 14:24, 20 December 2007 (UTC)

the 'recent changes' page...[edit]
...is in agony |Cynn's Thong| 12:10, 25 July 2010 (UTC)
- Uhm...ok. Thanks for sharing I guess ? Erszebet 12:13, 25 July 2010 (UTC)

- I think the point of the note, which also applies over the past day or so, was to indicate that you are making single, numerous changes to your pages over a 10-15 minute period. It is strongly recommended that you make one change, previewing as necessary, to make sure you have everything you want in place without having the "Recent Changes" log be spammed by numerous updates. --Kniblet Beast 19:53, 14 May 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks for the heads-up Kniblet, but that's pretty much what I've been doing - previewing and making sure all changes were made before saving (or trying to at least). It's just that I made several sub-pages (for including) that need editing - there's a whole lot of them. But this way the browser doesn't have to load such a big page, and it's easier for editing. it's "sousuke", with a 'U' after the 'O', not "sosuke". :) |Cynn's Thong| 12:17, 25 July 2010 (UTC)
Skill Trainers[edit]
Hey, I hope you don't mind me contacting you out of the blue here - I know it's been several years, but I wondered if you still had any interest in gathering information on skill trainers. I recently picked up a fresh account and realised that this presents a rare opportunity to browse skill trainer lists with minimal skills already unlocked, but I can't build a complete list alone. I've left more details on the project talk page, but I thought you might like to know that I'm looking at this, and that maybe you'd even be able to help. - Alexis Toran (talk) 18:38, 7 July 2018 (UTC)
