A further update on Guild Wars technology and Windows XP[edit]

Several years ago in Feedback:Developer_updates/20201109 I announced that eventually we would stop supporting Windows XP and Windows 2000. That time is now close at hand. Sometime in the next two weeks will be shipping a build of Guild Wars that is built on more recent compiler technology from Microsoft and which no longer supports Windows XP or Windows 2000. We're currently testing to see if Windows Vista will work.
