Background

The story of Ebonhawke was a planned expansion as part of Guild Wars: Beyond, but what never realized due to the abandonment of Guild Wars by developers in favor of Guild Wars 2. The events of the formation of Ebonhawke are hinted at towards the end of the War in Kryta where the Vanguard receive summons back to Ascalon. In Guild Wars 2, there is an achievement that involves reading the 20 tome saga of the Ebon Vanguard's new mission to the southern edge of Ascalon.
