War in kryta: Needs way too much work to be written in one sitting, so it's WiP, until I remove this notice.

Characterization[edit]

White Mantle[edit]

Main questions left unanswered:

  • Why is izzy such an incompetent idiot?
  • Why do they attack the villages if they know that it'll only damage their reputation
  • Why don't they follow Saul's tenets: Hablion did. He worked against the undead problem.
  • Why would they hire peacekeepers when all they do is raid and pillage, sowing terror across the populace?

Mursaat[edit]

  • When your race is driven close to extinction, is the best course of action really making every human angry at you by running and endorsing a teror regime?
  • Why don't they simply vanish to the Jungles they once called home?

Quests that need fixing[edit]

A Little help from above[edit]

Fluff[edit]

That mission is wrong in both fluff (lore), and crunch. Not that you get to endure the resident insufferable midget, you have to watch him torture or perform an autopsy on the Seer, which is confirmed not to be the source of infusion from the get-go. It's the Eidolon. Switch the corpses, or make the seer standing and looking like she's talking to the rat-shark-rabbit crossbreed abomination.

Crunch[edit]

If you go afk during the fluff part, and get in straight to get enjoyment from the gameplay, you will be severely disappointed. With the swamp mantle popups, the fact that you need to trace yourself back to where you began after walking through half of the mission, and to top it off, fight through it all, is just frustrating. Scrap that, remove the mantle popup from the swamps, and make the asura somewhat remotely useful by... Teleporting you to Loamhurst. Somewhere just outside of it will do. Also halve the mantle group count at the end in Shaemoor. It just looks like a fight without end. and quickly gets to the point when it's not challenge, instead it's boring watch either your team wipe them out, or having them do the same to you.

Wanted: Inquisitor Lovisa[edit]

There is no excuse. It's just done poorly. As long as she's in range of the children, she's invincible. That's BS. Rework Adoration into a Healing Breeze that can add armor or some other damage reduction.

Temple of the Intolerable[edit]

The ending, the lots of patrols around the Mursaat is both an annoyingly long fight, and is far from the location where you start from Hakewood. And if you get wiped out you have to walk all the way from there. Halve the number, and give us some indicator (ADDED: bulletpoint in quest log) of how many of the patrols are left.
