Amity Amity -

5 Energy¼ Activation time45 Recharge time Elite Hex Spell. For 8...18...20 seconds, adjacent foes cannot attack. For each foe, Amity ends if that foe takes damage.

Amity is likely the least used elite in the entire game. It does almost the same thing as Pacifism only in a slightly different way. It can be argued that it is in fact weaker than Pacifism due to its limited ajacent range and longer recharge. In addition, Amity is one of only two hexes in Protection Prayers, the other being Pacifism, a skill type that feels very out of place in a line based on safe-guarding allies.

In order to make Amity not only useful but also worth taking up the elite skill slot, the skill should be changed in several ways that better benefit allies. First and most simply, it should be changed to an enchantment to correspond with most of the other Protection Prayers skills. Next, to go with the original idea of physical shutdown, the skill can be changed to prevent attacks on an ally.

Change to: Amity Amity -

5 Energy¼ Activation time30 Recharge time Elite Enchantment spell. For 3...7...8 seconds, attacks against target ally fail. Amity ends if that ally attacks, deals damage or uses a skill that targets a foe.

Since the definition of amity is friendship, unlike Pacifism, it should allow continued casting on allies for those under its effect, giving Amity a clear advantage.
